Aurum Plains

The Aurum Plains is a region explored in Chapter 2 of Alabaster Dawn. It sits along the route between Remis Rock and Sundalan, and it is one of the areas Juno crosses while working to free the land from the Nyx Curse. The plains are made up of several connected sub-areas and host the mole boss Grandis Molis.

The Aurum Plains are divided into several named locations encountered as you cross the region toward Sundalan:

Enemies

Common enemies across the plains include the burrowing Molis (a mole-like Nuemera that ambushes from underground), encountered in scripted and respawning groups during the Freeing Sundalan and Free the Farm questlines. The mole boss Grandis Molis guards the Impact Site on the route to Sundalan.

The plains also host tougher foes. The bull-like Bovarks acts as a miniboss and often appears in pairs, resisting Slashing and Piercing while taking extra break from Blunt. The Aether flying-fish Pendicis wanders in from the Trial of Aether. During the Freeing Sundalan questline, an unnamed Vulture boss (shown in the interface as ?????) perches at North Bend; it cannot be defeated normally and simply flees once its break bar fills. The northern and southern fields are also foraging grounds for Aurum Plains ingredients, including Gartoffel, Clerry, and Frumatto.

Notes

The Aurum Plains are part of the current Early Access build. The May 2026 roadmap notes that additional side quests for the region are planned for a later update, so some content here is still being filled in. This page covers what the current build confirms.
