Koro Valley is the primary explorable region of Alabaster Dawn's launch Early Access build. Houses the village of Lyhamn, the abandoned Old Kamu Village, the Trial of Aether dungeon, and the surrounding Red Forest, Silver Peak, and Lumber Grove zones. Anchors the early settlement rebuilding loop.
Koro Valley is the primary explorable region of Alabaster Dawn's launch Early Access build and the home of Juno. It serves as Chapter 1's hub region: the central village Lyhamn anchors the settlement rebuilding loop, the surrounding zones host the early side quests and Nuemera encounters, and the Trial of Aether dungeon at the valley's edge unlocks the first elemental power outside Juno's starter.

Quest Hooks
Koro Valley anchors the settlement rebuilding loop in the launch build. Chapter 1's main quest Unyielding Solidarity introduces Estera o' Marmis and starts the rebuild of Lyhamn, branching into:
Branching Out: gather Quickwood from the Red Forest for Lyhamn's reconstruction.
Rice to the Occasion: rebuild the rice fields tied to Old Kamu Village.
Blooming Villain: clear an early Nuemera incursion threatening the rebuilt fields.
A Sneak Peek: climb Silver Peak and survey the valley.
These side quests gate the introduction of Ortrom Solas and Fain Solas, and most of them double as tool tutorials: the hammer is taught through rock-breaking, and the chakrams are taught through object-puzzle interactions.
Notable NPCs
Estera o' Marmis. Settlement coordinator in Lyhamn. Hands out the rebuild quest chain and tracks progress as the village physically transforms.
Penterson. Head carpenter. Source of construction tasks; finishing his commissions adds new structures to Lyhamn.
Orlanda. Chief farmer based out of Old Kamu Village. Drives the rice and food chain side quests.
Petros. Village smith. Provides early gear upgrades and the first stop for combat tuning before the Trial of Aether.
Filia. A Lyhamn villager close to Juno; appears in Chapter 1's opening dialogue as Juno first reorients to the surface.
Remis. A god whose remnant or echo appears in Koro Valley dialogue. The first divine voice Juno encounters after waking.
Cabbage. The Water Pig companion. Travels with Juno from the prologue into Koro Valley and supports specific puzzle and traversal moments.
Threats
Koro Valley is mostly cleared of advanced Nuemera at the start of Chapter 1, with smaller infestations reappearing as quests progress. Standard Nuemera, faster Enraged variants, and ranged Wasp Nuemera are all encountered here, with the Trial of Aether housing more dangerous elemental variants. The boss Inferna Vespa is encountered in the prologue, during Dahmon's segment.
Travel and Map
Koro Valley is fully unlocked for fast travel as the player completes the early Lyhamn quests. The world map supports adjustable hint intensity, fast-travel checkpoints, and objective markers, making it easy to clear the side-quest list before pushing into Chapter 2.
From Koro Valley, Chapter 2 progresses northward beyond Silver Peak. The Early Access launch build ends partway through that next region; Koro Valley remains the home base players return to for crafting, cooking, and gear adjustments.
