Overview
Smugglers (Quest) is a faction quest in Windrose.
Long Ben is worried his tavern will run out of wine. The smugglers are in trouble, too many people gone missing, and too many caches turning up empty.
This is a Smugglers of Port Royal faction chain, recommended around character level 9. Tracking down the lost wine cargo is what carries the quest from Tortuga out into the smugglers' waters. Clearing it pays out a stack of Letter of Favor, which feeds straight into Faction Reputation.

Stage 1: Talk to the Leader of the Smugglers
Long Ben is having trouble with his wine supplies. I should visit the smugglers and find out what is going on.
Stage 2: Find and Search Marita's Missing Ship
Marita Suarez commands the smugglers' camp. Her ship with Ben's cargo is overdue, and she wants me to find out what happened.
Stage 3: Return to Marita
There's no cargo. The crew is dead. I need to tell Marita she was right to worry.
Stage 4: Recover the Stolen Cargo
Marita gave me a lead on where the pirates might be stashing the stolen bottles. I need to get there before they're gone, whether from drinking or something else.

Walkthrough Notes
Start the chain by speaking to the smugglers' leader at their camp, then sail to the marked wreck of Marita's ship to confirm the crew is dead and the cargo gone.
Stage 4 is the only combat-heavy step: clear the pirates guarding the stash to recover the Contraband Wine, which is the single item you carry back to Marita.
The Letter of Favor reward stack is the real prize here; each one hands in for +10 reputation, so route them through a Bounty Agent toward whichever faction you are pushing.
