Hull Bracing: Standfast is a ship hull mod in Windrose, the Epic-rarity ascended version. Wedges, shores, and lashings kept ready to be driven in when the hull is hit, buying the ship a brief moment to steady herself.

In-Game Effect

Grants 5 stacks of Standfast effect over time. Taking damage consumes 1 stack and reduces incoming damage by 25% for 3 seconds. Provides additional 3 stacks of Standfast effect

Hull Bracing: Standfast can be crafted through the following recipes at the Shipwright's Workshop. Each tier uses progressively higher-quality metals and planks so higher-level stations unlock better material pipelines for the same ship weapon.

When to Use

Standfast bracing is the improvised budget bracing. Cheaper materials, modest HP bonus. Good for new Ketch captains running short scouting runs or trading through safe waters where full bracings are overkill.

The Epic (Ascended) tier is crafted from the base Rare bracing plus additional Tumbaga Ingot. It upgrades the effect magnitude and applies a small armor bonus that kicks in during sustained engagements. Used by endgame crews running fleet-level content.
