Overview
Sakiri is an S-rank playable character in Neverness to Everness. Her element is Incantation, one of the six attributes in the Esper Cycle, and her weapon is Kiroumaru, classified as an Anomaly Hammer. She holds the title of "Gluttonous Gourmet." Her birthday is November 7. Sakiri is affiliated with the Eibon Antique Shop, where she serves as the notorious rule-enforcer of the fridge sticky notes.
Sakiri is a horned Esper with a childlike appearance and a fiery temper. Her most notable companion is Kiroumaru, a monstrous, gluttonous creature that serves as both her weapon and her partner. Kiroumaru is an Anomaly that can devour enemies, manipulate gravity, and act independently. One that bites, shocks, and sometimes judges. Sakiri is described as a mischievous Incantation-type support who uses devouring skills, gravity tricks, and teamwide buffs to control the battlefield.
Appearance
Sakiri has the appearance of a young child, making her one of the smallest characters in the roster. She has sharp, expressive eyes and prominent red horns on her head that hint at a supernatural origin. She wears a red jacket with a black beret adorned with hair clips, and notably sports an eyepatch. Her design immediately conveys her no-nonsense attitude through confident posture and distinctive features. Kiroumaru appears as a large, monstrous slime creature adorning her staff that shifts between idle and combat modes.
Personality
Sakiri is the strict rule-enforcer of the Eibon Antique Shop. She maintains three cardinal rules via sticky notes on the shop's fridge:
Don't feed random things to Kiroumaru
Don't look down on people
Don't open the third shelf in the fridge
Despite laying down these rules, she is frequently exasperated that no one follows them. Her dialogue is punchy, filled with muttered complaints and comedic self-talk. She is small and cute but has a grumpy exterior that masks genuine care and protectiveness for those around her.
True to her "Gluttonous Gourmet" title, Sakiri has an enormous and seemingly endless appetite. She evaluates new experiences primarily through the lens of food. Her bond with Kiroumaru is deeply personal. She treats the creature as family rather than a tool, which is precisely why she forbids others from feeding random things to it. Despite her childlike appearance, Sakiri possesses sharp instincts for danger and can switch from grumpy to combat-ready in an instant.
One of her characteristic lines is "Empty bottle? Wh-what milk bottle!" a defensive exclamation that hints at her childlike sensibilities beneath the tough exterior. The official shop warning reads: "Eibon Antique Shop is not liable for anything swallowed or for any bitten butts."
Abilities and Combat Kit
Sakiri's combat revolves entirely around her companion Kiroumaru. Rather than wielding a conventional weapon, Sakiri directs Kiroumaru in battle. The creature functions as a living weapon that can change shape, devour enemies, and manipulate gravity. She is classified as a mischievous Incantation-type support who controls the battlefield while also buffing her squad.
Kiroumaru Headbutt (Basic Attack)
Sakiri commands Kiroumaru in two modes. In ramming mode, Kiroumaru performs up to 5 consecutive attacks as slamming headbutt strikes. In Eating Mode, Kiroumaru pulls enemies into its mouth for digestion, dealing sustained damage. The eating mode is activated by holding the attack button and can consume smaller enemies outright.
Devour Whole (Elemental Skill)
Sakiri's skill has two variations. When pressed, Kiroumaru inflates and knocks down enemies in the area. When held, Kiroumaru uses gravity consumption to levitate enemies, pulling them upward through gravitational manipulation. The hold variant is ineffective against boss-type enemies but devastates groups of smaller Oddities. Both variants deal Incantation damage.
Feast of Gluttony (Ultimate)
Sakiri commands Kiroumaru to unleash a gravity slurry attack, dealing 6 instances of Incantation DMG to enemies in the area. Affected enemies are suppressed for 3 seconds, locking them in place and preventing action. This ultimate provides both heavy burst damage and potent crowd control, creating a window for teammates to follow up with their own abilities.
Squash! (QTE)
During character swap sequences, Sakiri's QTE has Kiroumaru perform a heavy slam attack dealing area Incantation damage to all enemies in the impact zone.
Passive Abilities
Can I Eat This? Inflicts random debuffs on enemies when Scorch is applied, adding unpredictable disruption to the fight.
Impish Trick After using her ultimate, boosts the entire team's ATK by 15% of Sakiri's base ATK. This makes her a meaningful team buffer in addition to her control role.
Kiroumaru
Kiroumaru is not merely a weapon but a monstrous Anomaly creature with its own personality and behaviors. It is classified as an Anomaly that Sakiri has formed a symbiotic bond with. The official description warns: "If you anger Sakiri, beware of her Anomaly hammer named Kiroumaru and don't get too close." Kiroumaru can independently bite, shock, and reportedly even judge people.
Sakiri is fiercely protective of Kiroumaru, which is why her first fridge rule explicitly forbids feeding random things to the creature. The creature's ability to devour enemies and manipulate gravity through its consumption suggests it possesses powers beyond typical Anomalies.
Esper Cycle Role
As an Incantation element character, Sakiri creates reactions with adjacent elements on the Esper Cycle wheel. Her crowd-control focus through Kiroumaru's devour and gravity abilities makes her an excellent setup character. By grouping and suppressing enemies for 3 seconds with her ultimate, she creates ideal conditions for teammates with high burst damage to trigger powerful duo reactions. Her Impish Trick passive further enhances team output by providing a 15% ATK buff after using her ultimate.
Lore and Background
Sakiri is a fixture at the Eibon Antique Shop, where she has appointed herself the rule-enforcer. The shop operates as a front for Anomaly-related activities in Hethereau, and Sakiri works alongside other partners on commission-based Anomaly hunting work. Hotori, the shop's proprietress, tolerates Sakiri's grumpy temperament and enormous appetite.
Sakiri's horned appearance and her bond with an Anomaly creature raise questions about her origins. She may not be entirely human, or she may have been altered by prolonged exposure to Anomaly energy. The mysterious third shelf in the fridge that she forbids anyone from opening has become a source of speculation among both in-universe characters and the game's community.
