Overview
Sakiri is an S-Class Incantation character and a member of the Eibon Antique Shop crew. She is one of the youngest characters in the roster, but do not let her age fool you. Sakiri fights alongside Kiroumaru, a autonomous Anomaly Hammer with demon horns and a single eye that is both her companion and her primary weapon. Kiroumaru can shapeshift into a staff and various other forms, channeling Incantation energy through its body to unleash devastating area-of-effect attacks.

Sakiri occupies the pure AoE specialist role at launch. While characters like Nanally offer balanced single-target and AoE coverage, Sakiri leans entirely into multi-target damage. She is at her strongest when facing dense groups of enemies, where her wide-reaching attacks and teamwide buffs push her total damage contribution far above what focused single-target characters can achieve in the same scenario.

Personality
Sakiri has a quirky and innocent personality that contrasts with the destructive power she wields. She treats Kiroumaru as a close friend rather than a weapon, often talking to him during combat and hugging him after battles. Her childlike enthusiasm for sweets, bright colors, and collecting trinkets from Hethereau's markets makes her one of the more lighthearted members of the Eibon Antique Shop crew.
Despite her carefree demeanor, Sakiri shows a protective instinct when her friends are threatened. She does not fully understand the danger of the Anomalies she fights, treating combat encounters more like games than life-or-death situations. This innocence makes her both endearing and occasionally reckless, as she will charge headfirst into situations that more cautious teammates would approach carefully.
Kiroumaru
Kiroumaru is Sakiri's autonomous Anomaly Hammer companion. He has demon horns, a single eye, and a gelatinous body that can shapeshift into a staff, a shield, and various other forms. Despite looking like a small monster, Kiroumaru is fiercely loyal to Sakiri and responds to her commands (and emotions) in combat. When Sakiri is happy, Kiroumaru bounces excitedly. When she is frightened, he instinctively grows larger and more aggressive to protect her.
In gameplay terms, Kiroumaru is the actual source of most of Sakiri's damage output. Sakiri herself rarely makes direct contact with enemies. Instead, she directs Kiroumaru's shapeshifting body to strike, sweep, and engulf targets. This companion-based combat style is unique among the launch characters, and it means Sakiri's effective attack range is determined by Kiroumaru's reach rather than her own position.
Eating Mode and Devouring
Holding the basic attack input switches Kiroumaru into Eating Mode, with Sakiri mounted on top. The companion opens its mouth to pull nearby targets within a cone while the Hungry state is active, destroying movable scenery and devouring weak enemies in the process. Each devoured enemy occupies a digestion slot for 180 seconds before Kiroumaru is ready to consume another.
By default Kiroumaru can only digest one enemy at a time. At A6, the Gluttonous Dissolution awakening unlocks parallel digestion of up to three enemies, each on its own independent 180-second timer. Eating Mode is also the cleanest way to clear the trash mobs that block exploration interactables, since Kiroumaru can crunch through movable objects as part of the same animation that pulls targets in.
Combat Kit
Sakiri's attacks channel through Kiroumaru rather than coming from Sakiri directly. Her normal attack combo has Kiroumaru lash out at enemies in front of Sakiri, dealing Incantation damage in a moderate arc. The attacks have decent range for melee thanks to Kiroumaru's elastic body stretching toward targets.
Her skill abilities direct Kiroumaru to perform larger AoE attacks that cover a wide radius around Sakiri. These skills are Sakiri's bread and butter, dealing heavy Incantation damage to everything in range. During skill activation, Kiroumaru expands in size and sweeps through the area, hitting multiple times in rapid succession. The multi-hit nature of these skills generates significant elemental application for triggering elemental reactions with teammates.
In addition to raw damage, Sakiri's skills apply teamwide buffs that enhance the damage output of all party members for a duration after activation. These buffs make Sakiri valuable even when her personal damage is not the focus, as she amplifies the entire team's output. The buff stacks with other damage increases, making her a strong addition to teams that already have high DPS characters.
Ultimate: Kiroumaru's Feast
Sakiri's Ultimate unleashes Kiroumaru's true power. The Anomaly Hammer companion expands to enormous size and vomits a torrent of Incantation energy over a massive area, dealing heavy damage to every enemy caught in the blast. This is one of the largest AoE attacks in the entire launch roster, capable of hitting enemies across a wide battlefield zone.
The visual spectacle of Kiroumaru's Feast is matched by its damage numbers. Against densely packed enemy groups, the total damage output of this Ultimate rivals or exceeds the single-target burst of characters like Baicang when calculated across all targets hit. The more enemies present, the more value the Ultimate provides.
After the Ultimate concludes, Kiroumaru returns to staff form and the teamwide buff refreshes, providing a sustained damage increase to the team during the post-Ultimate cleanup phase.
Strengths
Strongest wave-clearing AoE capability in the launch roster by a significant margin
Teamwide damage buffs add support value beyond personal damage output
Kiroumaru's multi-hit attacks generate rapid elemental application for reactions
Incantation element enables Hexed reactions with Anima characters (like Nanally) and Scorch reactions with Chaos characters (like Lacrimosa)
Ultimate: Kiroumaru's Feast is one of the most impactful AoE abilities in the game
Fun and unique combat style centered around the Kiroumaru companion

Weaknesses
Struggles significantly against single targets and bosses where AoE damage is spread thin
In boss-focused content, her damage contribution drops compared to dedicated single-target characters
Skill cooldowns can create gaps in AoE coverage during extended encounters
Less impactful in team compositions designed around burst boss damage windows
Kiroumaru's large AoE attacks can sometimes miss mobile targets that move out of range during animations
Team Synergy
Sakiri works best in teams oriented toward clearing content with many enemies. Her Incantation element creates two primary reaction lanes:
Hexed (Incantation + Anima): Pairing Sakiri with Nanally or other Anima characters triggers Hexed, debuffing enemies to take increased damage. With Sakiri's teamwide buff stacking on top, the combined damage amplification is substantial.
Scorch (Incantation + Chaos): Pairing Sakiri with Lacrimosa triggers Scorch, adding burn DoT on top of Sakiri's AoE damage for even more area denial.
In content that mixes waves of enemies with boss phases, Sakiri can handle the wave phases while a dedicated boss killer like Baicang takes over during single-target phases. Adler provides shields and additional Incantation stacking for teams that want to double down on Incantation element coverage.
Sakiri is less critical in pure boss teams, where characters like Baicang and Nanally provide superior focused damage. Consider her a situational pick that excels in wave-heavy content rather than a universal team staple.
Crowd Control Utility
Beyond raw damage, Sakiri provides meaningful crowd control. Kiroumaru's expanded AoE attacks during skill activation can stagger smaller enemies and interrupt their attack patterns. This knockback effect keeps enemy groups clumped together, which in turn makes follow-up AoE attacks from other teammates more effective. The crowd control is not as reliable against boss-type enemies, but against standard Encroachment waves and overworld mobs, Sakiri can keep entire groups locked down while teammates pick them off.
Her teamwide buff also qualifies as a support mechanic. After activating skills, all party members receive an attack increase for a set duration. This buff persists even after swapping Sakiri off the field, making her a strong quickswap support character in teams that rotate abilities quickly. The buff stacks with other damage amplification effects, including elemental reactions and passive bonuses from the Awakening system.
Tips
Sakiri is ideal for story content, exploration encounters, and any scenario that throws groups of enemies at you.
Use her skills to apply teamwide buffs before swapping to your main DPS for amplified damage during their burst windows.
In mixed content with both waves and bosses, use Sakiri for wave phases and swap to Baicang or Nanally for boss phases.
Her Ultimate is best saved for dense enemy spawns. Using it on a single boss wastes its AoE potential.
For team building, pair her with at least one Anima or Chaos character to maximize elemental reaction synergy during her AoE rotations.
Kiroumaru's multi-hit attacks trigger reactions rapidly, so prioritize elemental coverage in team composition when running Sakiri.
