Background
Neverness to Everness features a roster of Espers, individuals who possess supernatural abilities in the city of Hethereau. Each Esper is aligned with one of the game's five elements: Cosmos, Anima, Incantation, Lakshana, Psyche, or Chaos. Espers are ranked in three tiers: S-Class (highest rarity), A-Class, and B-Class. Otto's placement within this system will be revealed as the game approaches its April 29, 2026 launch.
Combat System Context
All playable Espers in Neverness to Everness equip Arcs as their primary weapons. Arcs come in various forms including blades, hammers, claws, canes, and ranged weapons. Each Esper also has a unique traversal ability that provides exploration benefits in the open city of Hethereau.
Espers fill one of three combat roles: Damage (primary damage dealers), Survival (tanks and self-sustaining fighters), and Buff (support characters who enhance allies). Otto's combat role has not been disclosed.
Team Building
Once Otto's element is confirmed, players will be able to plan Elemental Reactions around his kit. The element cycle in Neverness to Everness creates powerful combo effects when Espers of adjacent elements attack the same target. Understanding Otto's element will be key to determining his best team compositions.
Availability
Otto was not playable during the Containment Test or the Co-Ex Test beta periods. He is expected to become available either at launch or through a post-launch banner. The game's gacha system features limited-time character banners alongside a permanent standard banner.
Note: This article will be updated with Otto's confirmed element, rarity, abilities, and backstory once official details are released.
