Exploration
Exploring the world is how you find new Animon, uncover the story, and discover hidden rewards. LumenTale: Memories of Trey is set in Talea, a land split into the regions of Logos and Mythos, with towns, wilds, and dungeons to explore on foot.
Regions and Towns
Talea is divided into two halves. Each region holds its own towns and landmarks, such as the port city of Costa Linda and the entertainment hub of Voltar. As the campaign progresses you gain access to more of the map. See World and Regions for the overview.

The Day and Night Cycle
Time of day matters. A day and night cycle changes which Animon appear in an area, so a spot that is quiet in daylight may be busy after dark, and vice versa. Returning to the same place at different times is one of the best ways to round out your collection.
Dungeons
Talea is dotted with dungeons. These hold rarer Animon and hidden treasures, making them worth seeking out once you have a capable team. Official descriptions encourage players to explore all the dungeons of Talea to meet rare creatures and find what is hidden inside.
What to Look For
Wild Animon roaming the field, including species tied to certain times of day.
Dungeons with rare encounters and treasure.
Towns with researchers, shops, and members of the Lumen.
Story locations that advance Trey's search for his memories.

Resting and Restocking
Points known as the Fountain let you rest, craft items, and cook food while on the road, which keeps long expeditions going. Stock up on capture items before heading into new territory. See Items and Currency.
