1 revisionsThis page lists the major story and dialogue choices in LumenTale: Memories of Trey, along with what each one does. The choices matter both for their immediate outcomes and for how they shape the ending. Some change which characters survive or which region you see first; others have no visible effect at the time but feed into the conclusion. Major story spoilers follow.
Quest | Choice | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Help Kapan | Choosing to help saves Kapan from the collapsing building. Doing nothing results in Kapan dying. See Should You Help Kapan or Not?. | |
Determines which region you explore first, which changes the bosses you fight first and the Animon you can access. It does not lock you out of the other side. See Should You Go North or South?. | ||
Go with Ales or solve the city's problems | If you solve the city's problems, Trey's eyes darken and he deals with the officials off-screen. Going with Ales proceeds the same way without that interaction. The next scene shows the Judge taking interest in Ban and Mina's inventions. | |
Save Pitan or leave | Picking up the nearby rope saves Pitan, after which Trey is arrested by the authorities. Leaving causes Pitan to lose his grip and fall to his death, and Trey does not tell Elio or the team. | |
Confront Baza or stay quiet | You can call out Baza for his hypocrisy or say nothing and let him get away with it. The choice changes the ending. See Should You Confront Baza?. | |
Stay awake or drift off | You can stay awake to hear Elodie explain Lacuna's fate as a sacrifice to a dangerous local Animon, or drift off to sleep and ignore her. |
Choices in LumenTale matter for both direct outcomes and ending consequences. The earliest choices can immediately change your supporting cast and which region opens first. Other choices have no immediate effect but play into the ending later, so it is worth paying attention before committing to a decision.
