Overview

Perfectionist is one of 18 traits in inZOI. It belongs to the Careful and Thorough pair alongside Social Activist. Traits are chosen during character creation and cannot be changed afterward. The single trait shapes how the Zoi behaves autonomously, which emotions they lean toward, how quickly their needs decay, and how they interact with other Zois.

The trait system draws from the Enneagram of Personality framework. The Careful and Thorough pair maps to Enneagram Type 1 (Reformer), with Perfectionist and Social Activist representing two distinct expressions of the same core type.

Personality

Perfectionists prioritize orderliness and regular routine. They hold high standards for self and others, with a strong sense of justice and discipline. They are careful planners and disciplined goal-pursuers. The frequently Nervous emotion and fast Hygiene decay mean they require regular grooming and can be high-maintenance. They rarely display emotions, which can make social situations awkward.

Keywords define the core personality tendencies. They influence autonomous behavior, conversation topics, and how other Zois perceive and react to the Perfectionist.

Values

Each trait starts with four associated Values that the Zoi is predisposed toward. Values range from 0 to 100 and develop through gameplay. At 60 or more points, a Value becomes influential and unlocks special interactions and Urges.

Emotional Tendencies

Traits influence which emotions a Zoi experiences most often and how long certain emotions persist.

The Nervous emotion slows Performance skill growth and causes Energy to deplete faster.

The Hygiene gauge depletes quickly. This means the Zoi requires more frequent attention to this need than Zois with other traits.

The shortened Surprise means the Zoi is rarely thrown off balance, which can be an advantage in high-pressure situations.
