The Swamp Camp is the third of the three camps in the Valley of Mines, built on the edge of the southern swamps. Its inhabitants call themselves the Brotherhood of the Sleeper, and they are a religious order rather than a mercantile or rebel faction. Alkimia Interactive has confirmed the Swamp Camp as one of the three joinable factions.
The Brotherhood follows The Sleeper, an ancient entity that speaks to them through dreams. They believe that fully awakening the Sleeper will destroy the Barrier and free them all. The Brotherhood's religious ambition is what pulls them into direct conflict with the other two camps' priorities.
The Brotherhood is led by the guru Y'Berion, who first made contact with the Sleeper and led his followers into the swamp. Cor Angar and Cor Kalom are named among the Brotherhood's senior figures, and Lester acts as the camp's outward-facing diplomat for most new arrivals.

The Swamp Camp is built on swampweed cultivation rather than ore mining. Swampweed is used in the Brotherhood's rituals and is traded to the other camps and outside contacts through the Barrier, which keeps the camp financially independent despite not participating in the ore trade.

The Brotherhood's interest in awakening the Sleeper is the reason the Focus Stones arc eventually catches up with every Hero, not just Swamp Camp recruits. The Sleeper is the campaign's final opposition, and the Brotherhood is the faction closest to its temple. See Chapters for how that ties into the overall narrative.

A Hero who joins the Swamp Camp completes the camp's admission tasks and is brought before Y'Berion. Joining opens paths into the Brotherhood's inner rituals and its combat roles, and gives the Hero access to the mages and contacts who know the Sleeper's mythology best.
