Admission to the Swamp Camp requires level 5 and recommendations from at least four of the five Gurus. Lester explains the process near the entrance. The final decision is made by Cor Kalom in his laboratory.
Get the Guru recommendations
Guru | Route to approval |
|---|---|
Baal Namib | Ask Lester to guide the Hero away from Namib, discuss getting his master to speak, then return to the entrance and follow Lester's staged vision conversation. |
Baal Orun | Help Ghorim by knocking Harlok down, collect the swampweed harvest from Balor and Viran, deliver it to Cor Kalom, then report to Orun. |
Baal Cadar | Use the Sleep scroll from Orun on one of Cadar's seated pupils during a lecture. This also opens Cadar's trade inventory. |
Baal Tyon | Choose the prepared Dreamcall reward from Canvassing Customers and give it to Tyon. |
Baal Tondral | Recruit Dusty from the Old Camp, pay the south-gate guard 100 ore nuggets, and escort Dusty to Tondral. |
Do not assume that speaking directly to every Guru starts a task. Several recommendations depend on another resident arranging the approach. Four approvals are enough; the prepared Dreamcall is optional if the other four routes are completed.
Answer Cor Kalom
After collecting the recommendations, save and speak to Cor Kalom. Choose the response that says the Hero has felt the Sleeper's power and believes it will free the Colony. Saying the Hero came for free swampweed turns Kalom hostile. The uncertain response gives another opportunity to answer.
Successful admission awards 750 XP and the Novice's Armor. Baal Namib can upgrade that armor. Admission closes the other two camp routes and related side quests; finish those before the final conversation.
Prepare the journey
Baal Parvez can escort the Hero from the Old Camp market. Carry healing items and help him in fights because an escort can die. The camp's first story assignment is The Lost Apprentice. See Main Quests for the chapter progression.
