Fire Mages

The Fire Mages are the Old Camp's magical circle. They were among the original twelve mages who raised the Barrier and now live inside the Old Camp's fortress, serving as its spiritual and magical authority.

Members

The Fire Circle includes Corristo as its head, along with Torrez, Drago, Damarok, Rodriguez, and the youngest member Milten. Milten is generally the Fire Mage most accessible to a new arrival.

Alignment

The Fire Mages are loyal to the Crown of Myrtana and to King Rhobar II. They supported the Barrier ritual to help secure the magical ore supply for the war effort, and they treat Gomez's Old Camp regime as a necessary partner rather than as an equal.

Relationship with the Hero

Any Nameless Hero who commits to the Old Camp and wants to follow the magic path ends up joining the Fire Circle. Joining means moving into the castle, taking on novice duties, and eventually earning the right to craft Fire runes. See Magic and Runes.
