The Fire Mages are the magical circle of the Old Camp. They live inside the camp's castle and serve as its spell support and spiritual authority. They were among the mages who participated in the ritual that raised the Barrier.
Alignment
The Fire Mages are loyal to the Crown of Myrtana. They supported the Barrier ritual to help secure the magical ore supply for the war against the Orcs, and they treat Gomez's regime as a necessary partner in keeping that supply flowing. Their split from the Water Mages of the New Camp is political rather than purely ideological: the Fire Mages accept the ore trade arrangement and the Water Mages do not.
Remake Appearance
Of the Fire Circle's individual members, only Milten has been publicly spotlighted in Alkimia's pre-release character material. Milten is the youngest Fire Mage and tends to be the most accessible to a new Hero. The studio has not published a complete Fire Circle roster, so the other members are covered here only where the shipped game or the patch notes name them.
Magic and Runes
Fire Circle magic is accessed through runes that mages of the circle can craft. Scrolls broaden the ladder for any character, not just trained mages. See Magic and Runes for the remake's rune and scroll system.
Joining the Fire Circle
A Hero who commits to the Old Camp and wants to follow the magic path can work toward the Fire Circle. Joining means moving into the castle, taking on novice duties, and eventually earning the right to handle Fire-aligned magic.
Patch 1.0.5 (August 27, 2026) fixed the wrong dialogue triggering when the Hero interacts with the Fire Mages’ chamber door. See Patch 1.0.5.
Trial and initiation
Trial of Fire covers the Chapter 3 admission process: read Rituals of the Order of Fire, learn Alchemy and Inscription, answer Corristo's questions, and rekindle both shrines. The prerequisite lessons cost a total of 20 Learning Points and 200 ore nuggets. Save before the questions and complete the route before the Chapter 3 cutoff.
