The Free Mine is the New Camp's own ore operation in Gothic 1 Remake. Alkimia has indicated that previously unused unique characters and quests from the original design are being restored here.
The Old Mine is the primary ore-mining complex of the Old Camp. It is one of the earliest environments Alkimia showed in a remake trailer.
The Arena is the Old Camp's fighting pit. Alkimia has confirmed the remake gives the Arena greater use with new quests and fights against animals.
The Exchange Zone is the canyon-based landing area where new arrivals reach the Valley of Mines. It is the opening location of the Nyras Prologue demo and is noticeably taller than in the 2001 original.
The Old Camp Castle is the fortified centre of the Old Camp in Gothic 1 Remake. It houses Gomez, the Fire Mages, and the camp's inner hierarchy, and was showcased in the 2023 Welcome to the Old Camp trailer.
