Myxir

Myxir is a Water Mage and one of the characters recognisable from the wider Gothic series. He returns in Gothic 1 Remake with expanded content that did not exist in the original.

New Quest Line

Alkimia Interactive has confirmed a new quest line centred on Myxir in the remake. The Nameless Hero helps him acquire a new spell on the coast near the colony, which gives the player a reason to explore parts of Khorinis that were not a focus of the original Gothic.

Background

In Gothic canon, Myxir was among the mages involved with the Barrier and recurs across later games in the series. In the remake's fiction he is part of the Water Circle proper, living inside the New Camp alongside Saturas.
