Ur-Shak
Ur-Shak is a named character in Gothic 1 Remake, confirmed by the published voice cast. He is voiced in the English version by Adam Diggle.
Who He Is
Ur-Shak is an orc shaman. He is one of the non-human characters the campaign brings into contact with the Nameless Hero, which is a shift from the Orcs being purely hostile mooks in the first parts of the Colony.
A Deeper Orc Role
Alkimia Interactive has said publicly that the remake expands on Orc interactions rather than keeping them as generic enemies, and Ur-Shak is one of the characters tied to that push. Ur-Shak being explicitly voice-cast rather than a silent background figure is consistent with that design direction.
