Slash Rend Armor is a melee combat skill in Crimson Desert, exclusive to Oongka. It belongs to the Stamina (Blue) branch of the skill tree.

Effect

Slash ignores the enemy's Super Armor and strikes them down. This passive enhancement ensures that Slash always staggers the target regardless of their armored state.

Combat Tips

Slash Rend Armor is a high-priority upgrade for Oongka builds focused on weapon combat. Many mid-game and late-game enemies use Super Armor to power through attacks, and this upgrade negates that advantage. Once unlocked, every Slash becomes a reliable stagger tool against even the toughest enemies.

Super Armor Explained

Super Armor is the invisible armor status that large enemies, bosses, and many elites use to power through player attacks without flinching. Without a Rend Armor option, hitting a Super Armored target only deals chip damage; the enemy continues its animation and can often interrupt you first. Oongka relies on Slash as a core dual-wield damage source, so leaving Super Armor intact undermines his entire damage loop.

Slash Rend Armor removes that limitation by making every Slash ignore the Super Armor state. The hit still deals standard damage, but it now also staggers, creating a window for follow-up combos such as Rampage or Quaking Fury.
