A mountain in the Pailune region where the climactic Chapter 7 boss battle against Myurdin takes place during the Battle at Silverwolf Mountain quest.

Silver Wolf Mountain is a towering peak within the Pailune region, located in the northern part of the Pywel map. The mountain is the setting for one of the most important battles in the main storyline: the final confrontation with Myurdin, the leader of the Black Bears. This climactic battle concludes the "Decisive Battle" sub-chapter of Chapter 7: Homecoming.

Silver Wolf Mountain rises from the Pailune region, extending from the southern peaks through central woodlands and up into the mountain range. The Pailune region itself sits to the north of Hernand and offers a mix of dense forests and rocky highlands. Two fast travel points are located in the Silver Wolf Mountain area, along with the Silverwolf Cave sub-area.
"Battle at Silverwolf Mountain" is the 100th main mission in Crimson Desert, part of Chapter 7: Homecoming under the "Decisive Battle" sub-chapter. The prerequisite is completing the "Broken Claws" quest.
Find Myurdin's whereabouts on the mountain
Defeat Myurdin
Players climb toward the mountain's summit, where a locked gate blocks the path. Use the Nature's Grasp ability to lift the gate, then follow the linear path deeper into a castle structure at the peak. A cutscene triggers upon reaching the top. After the cinematic, climb a ladder to initiate the boss encounter.
Myurdin is fought in a two-phase battle with dual health bars. This rematch is the culmination of the rivalry established in the prologue, where Myurdin killed Gian and shattered the Greymane mercenary band.
Phase 1: Focus on parrying attacks and using heavy attacks. The Tauria Curved Sword is effective during this phase.
Phase 2: Myurdin transforms and begins using lava-based attacks with fire damage. Prioritize dodging while keeping stamina reserves high for consistent evasion.
Melted Ambition: A sword rewarded upon defeating Myurdin and completing the quest
Silverwolf Cave: A cave system within the mountain
Second-Finger Cave: A cave on nearby Five-Finger Mountain
North of Silver Wolf Mountain, beyond the playable boundary of the Pailune region, players have observed a small snow-covered settlement that exists in the game files but is not part of the explorable map. The area sits in a region where the game triggers its 30-second out-of-bounds countdown, after which the player is returned to the nearest valid location, so the village cannot be visited as part of normal play.
The settlement appears more developed than typical placeholder geometry. Visible features reported from in-game observation include:
Wooden cabins. Several structures are positioned around the village, with interiors that have furnishing and prop detail rather than empty shells.
Notice boards. Posters on the boards resemble the notice posters used elsewhere in the playable world.
Chests. Chest props are placed in the area, though they cannot be interacted with from outside the playable boundary.
No NPCs. No characters or wildlife have been observed in the area.
As of the current build, the snow village is not reachable through normal gameplay and has no associated quests, fast travel points, or interactive objects accessible to the player. It is documented here only as an environmental detail of the area surrounding Silver Wolf Mountain. This page does not cover methods of leaving the playable boundary.
Make sure to complete the Broken Claws quest before attempting this mission, as it is a prerequisite.
In Phase 2 of the Myurdin fight, dodge the lava-based attacks rather than blocking. Fire damage ignores stamina-based defenses.
Use Nature's Grasp at the locked gate on the summit to progress. This is the same ability used for environmental puzzles elsewhere.
Tag both fast travel points in the Silver Wolf Mountain area before the boss fight for easy return access.
