Reunion Puzzle
The Reunion puzzle is encountered during the Reunion main quest, which is the third quest in Chapter 2: Golden Greed. After clearing the Lioncrest Watchtower and gaining access to the Visione, Kliff follows a Shai child named Rulupee and their cat Jiji to a set of Ancient Ruins in the Meandering Hills. This puzzle introduces the Force Palm ability and the disc inversion mechanic that appears in many other Ancient Ruins throughout Pywel.
Prerequisites
Complete the Lioncrest Watchtower section of the main story.
Gain access to the Visione.
Learn Nature's Grasp (acquired automatically during this quest to lift the rock blocking the ruins entrance).
Getting to the Ruins
During the Reunion quest, you will follow Rulupee and the black cat Jiji northwest of Hernand toward the Meandering Hills. The path leads through open fields to the entrance of an Ancient Ruins site. A large rock blocks the entrance. Use the Nature's Grasp ability (which Kliff learns at this point in the story) to lift the rock out of the way and enter the ruins.
Understanding the Disc Mechanic
Inside the ruins, you will find three circular discs arranged in a row with an energy current running through them. Each disc can be either pressed in (depressed) or popped out. The key mechanic is inversion: when you use Force Palm on one disc, it does not just affect that disc. It also inverts the position of every disc directly adjacent to it. If an adjacent disc is popped out, it gets pressed in. If it is already pressed in, it pops back out.
The goal is to get all three discs pressed in at the same time. Because hitting one disc changes its neighbors, the order in which you strike them matters.
Solution
Strike the three discs in the following order using Force Palm:
Middle disc first. Use Force Palm on the center disc. This presses the middle disc in and inverts both the left and right discs.
Right disc second. Use Force Palm on the right disc. This adjusts the right disc and inverts the middle disc (which is adjacent).
Left disc last. Use Force Palm on the left disc. This adjusts the left disc and inverts the middle disc again, locking all three into the pressed-in position.
Once all three discs are pressed in simultaneously, the energy lines in the circles align, the puzzle mechanism activates, and the Abyss Cresset in the chamber lights up.

Key Tips
Think about adjacency. The disc inversion mechanic appears in many Ancient Ruins across Pywel. Understanding how hitting one disc flips its neighbors is the foundation for solving most of these puzzles.
Reset if needed. If you lose track of which discs are in or out, you can leave the ruins and re-enter to reset the puzzle to its default state.
Follow the cat. If you lose your way during the quest, look for the black cat Jiji. It will lead you directly to the ruins entrance.
