Overview

Raging Lightning Proficiency is a melee combat skill in Crimson Desert, exclusive to Oongka. It belongs to the Stamina (Blue) branch of the skill tree.

Skill Details

Effect

Hold R1 + X to increase movement distance during Raging Lightning. Oongka covers significantly more ground while spinning, hitting enemies across a wider area.

Combat Tips

This proficiency upgrade transforms Raging Lightning from a stationary spin into a mobile buzzsaw. Hold the input instead of tapping it to travel further while slashing. It works well for cutting through lines of enemies or chasing down scattered groups.

Mobile Buzzsaw Pattern

The base Raging Lightning plants Oongka in place for a spinning attack. With Proficiency, holding R1 + X (RB + X on Xbox) instead of tapping it extends the move: Oongka travels forward during the spin, covering significantly more ground. The direction of travel is controlled by the left stick, so you can steer the buzzsaw through a line of enemies or carve an angled path through a group.

The 30 Stamina cost is higher than the base Raging Lightning because of the extended spin duration. Plan the travel path before committing, since Oongka is locked into the move until the animation finishes or Stamina runs out. Cancelling early with a dodge forfeits the remaining spin.
