The Engraved Gold Earring is found inside a Strongbox on the second floor of Lioncrest Manor, located in the center of the City of Hernand. The strongbox features a fairy image puzzle that must be solved to unlock it.
Travel to Lioncrest Manor in central Hernand. The manor is a restricted area, so you will need a Mask equipped to enter without triggering guards.
Climb up to the second-floor window on the right side of the building. You can parkour up the exterior wall to reach an open window.
Once inside, locate the strongbox in the eastern room on the second floor. It displays a fairy image on its face.
Solve the puzzle by rotating each piece until the fairy painting is complete. The puzzle is randomized, so rotate each segment until the full image lines up.
Open the strongbox to collect the Engraved Gold Earring.
The earring starts at Refinement Level 2 out of the box. There are no combat encounters required to reach the chest, making this a quick detour for players exploring Hernand early on.
The sell price of 4.26 Silver confirms it is a moderately valuable accessory. Players who find duplicates can sell extras or, more efficiently, use them as refinement material.
The Engraved Gold Earring supports up to 10 refinement levels at any Blacksmith. Refinement increases the earring's Defense stat and potentially enhances the Movement Speed effect at higher levels.
