The Demeniss Cathedral Necklace is a Necklace accessory in Crimson Desert. Sold at the cathedral contribution shop in the southeastern part of Demeniss city for 27 Contribution Points, it provides an alternative to the Tarnished Necklace that players may have picked up from bandit drops earlier in the game. Since players can only equip one necklace at a time, choosing the right one matters for your build. The cathedral necklace offers better base stats and access to Spirit Regeneration through refinement, making it a strong mid-game upgrade.

The Demeniss Cathedral Necklace is purchased from the Contribution Shop inside the cathedral in the southeastern district of Demeniss city. This is one of three contribution shops in Demeniss, separate from the main castle shop (accessed by climbing the battlements and dropping into the courtyard) and the shop near the bank.
Earning the required 27 Contribution Points involves completing quests, clearing enemy camps, and assisting NPCs throughout the Demeniss region. Because Contribution Points are region-locked, you need to earn points specifically in the Demeniss area. Points from Hernand, Pailune, or other regions do not transfer.
Effective ways to accumulate Contribution Points in Demeniss include completing faction quests for local organizations, clearing bounties posted in the region, liberating bandit camps, and giving alms to beggars (each copper coin donated grants one point). Avoid criminal behavior in the region, as theft costs 5 Contribution Points per offense.
The Demeniss Cathedral Necklace supports refinement at any Blacksmith through the Refinement System. Necklaces (also called amulets) typically gain Spirit Regeneration as a tertiary bonus when refined to Level 3 or higher. Secondary stats such as Attack Speed or Critical Rate may also appear at higher refinement levels.
Duplicate copies of the necklace can serve as refinement materials, which is useful since the cathedral shop allows you to purchase multiple copies. Like all accessories, necklace refinement cannot be previewed before committing materials. Saving before refining to Level 3 lets you check the unlocked bonuses and reload if needed.
Necklace | ATK | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
+1 | Bandit drops (early game) | |
Demeniss Cathedral Necklace | +2 (estimated) | Demeniss Cathedral Shop (27 pts) |
The Tarnished Necklace is the first necklace most players find, typically dropped by bandits along roadways in the Hernand region. The cathedral necklace provides improved base stats, and its higher refinement potential makes it a meaningful upgrade for the mid-game. Both necklaces support full refinement up to Level 10.
Players can only equip one necklace at a time, unlike rings and earrings which have two slots each. Choose your necklace carefully based on your build priorities.
The cathedral shop also sells the Demeniss Cathedral Ring for 25 Contribution Points. Purchasing both items together costs 52 points total.
Necklaces grant Spirit Regeneration through refinement, which benefits builds that rely heavily on skills and ability usage.
You can sell contribution shop items back to the contribution merchant for a full refund of the original point cost, so there is no risk in buying early.
