Airships and Surveillance
The Delesyian Aerial Force is the organization that brought Delesyia's skies under one banner. Its airships are regarded across Pywel with a mixture of awe and fear, since no other kingdom fields air power on the same scale. The airships it flies were produced by workshops tied to Marni and the Ironwheel of Dewhaven.
The force's signature vessel is the Ironwing REN-X, a surveillance airship built by Marni that cuts through the sky above Delesyia. Its surveillance records document heavily guarded forts, complex terrain, and hidden supply routes. Whoever holds those records effectively knows every path through the region, which makes them a central objective of the associated faction quests.

Reputation and Rewards
Like every faction in Crimson Desert, this group sits inside the game's five-tier reputation system: War, Hostile, Neutral, Friendly, and Alliance. Most factions begin at Neutral when first encountered, and reputation shifts as the player completes faction quests, contracts, and related world content. Reaching Alliance unlocks three compounding benefits: allied troops that assist in combat inside the faction's territory, exclusive vendors carrying items not sold anywhere else, and restricted resource nodes such as mining deposits, ingredient patches, and hidden dungeons.
Faction System Notes
Crimson Desert tracks approximately 110 factions in total across the continent of Pywel, split across four classification types: Core, Hostile, Religious, and Other. Contribution XP from completing faction quests feeds into standing with the issuing faction and, in several regions, into a shared regional reputation such as Demenissian Contribution or Pailunese Contribution. Progress is tracked on the reputation panel in the player menu, and reaching Alliance with a faction typically unlocks a named reward set that can include armor, weapons, mounts, or cosmetics such as the Pirate King Hat earned through Vellua Fishermen's Guild content.

Faction Mission Chain
The Delesyian Aerial Force is associated with a three-part side-mission chain. Completing the full chain takes down the faction's flagship airship and makes the Sky Galleon render over Delesyia, which is the only way to access the Sky Galleon Vargon Merchant and its rotating stock.
Aerial Border - the first mission in the chain. Liberates an aerial checkpoint on the Delesyian perimeter and can be cleared as soon as the player can reach the area, well before Chapter 11.
Locked Barrier - the second mission. Also accessible early and often completed naturally during the Chapter 11 A Brave New World storyline, since the main quest routes the player through the same sites while collecting keys for Marni's Transporter.
Wings Across the Sky - the third and capstone mission. Targets Ironwing REN-X, the faction's flagship surveillance airship, which must be boarded mid-air and destroyed from the inside. Successful completion spawns the Sky Galleon overhead.
Aerial Border and Locked Barrier appear to be soft prerequisites for Wings Across the Sky showing up on the board, though some players report the third mission unlocking without them if Chapter 11 progress is far enough along. If the Wings Across the Sky marker is missing and Ironwing REN-X is still patrolling, clearing the first two faction missions is the fastest way to unblock the chain.
