How the Sky Galleon Becomes Visible
The Sky Galleon does not appear over Delesyia by default. It only spawns in the sky after the Ironwing REN-X, the large pterodactyl-style surveillance airship patrolled by the Delesyian Aerial Force, has been shot down. Bringing Ironwing REN-X out of the sky is the objective of the faction's Wings Across the Sky side mission, which is the third and final mission in the Delesyian Aerial Force chain. Until Ironwing REN-X is destroyed, the Galleon and its Sky Galleon Vargon Merchant do not render at the location, which is why many players report seeing the marker on the map but an empty sky overhead.
The fight against Ironwing REN-X requires the player to board the airship mid-air and destroy its core orbs. Reaching the platform is easier after Chapter 11, when Marni's Transporter and the player's dragon mount both become available, but the mission can be completed earlier by flying from a nearby Abyss Nexus if positioning is patient. Once the core is destroyed and the airship crashes, the mission closes and the Sky Galleon spawns overhead on the next visit.
Travel Use
Sky Galleon is most relevant when planning movement, hauling, or group travel. The seat count, stamina, movement, and handling rows show whether it fits solo exploration, passenger transport, or supply movement better than a faster single-rider mount.
