The Bonepit Mace is a one-handed weapon in Crimson Desert. It has an Attack Power of 13 and an Attack Speed bonus at Lv. 1, making it one of the faster blunt weapons available in the one-handed category. The mace takes its name from The Bonepit, a dangerous region in Pywel known for its harsh terrain and formidable enemies. The Bonepit equipment series includes several two-handed weapons as well, such as the Bonepit Greataxe, Bonepit Halberd, and Bonepit Warhammer. The Bonepit Mace is the one-handed representative of this equipment line.
Like the Sydmon Hammer, the Bonepit Mace prioritizes Attack Speed over Critical Rate. This makes it a good fit for players who prefer a faster, more aggressive combat rhythm with their blunt weapons rather than waiting for lucky critical hits. The mace features 3 Abyss Core slots, offering plenty of room for customization.

The Bonepit Mace can be obtained through exploration of the Bonepit region and surrounding areas. The Bonepit equipment line follows a pattern where weapons are either crafted at a Blacksmith after unlocking the corresponding crafting manual or found as world loot in the Bonepit area. The two-handed Bonepit Warhammer, for example, requires the Two-Handed Weapons of the World Vol. 2 manual to craft.
For the one-handed Bonepit Mace, players should check equipment shops in settlements near the Bonepit region, loot chests and ground pickups throughout the area, and look for drops from enemies that patrol the Bonepit. The mace may also become craftable after reading one of the higher-volume One-Handed Weapons of the World manuals found in later regions.
The Bonepit Mace begins at Refinement 0 and can be upgraded through the standard refinement system at any Blacksmith. Each refinement level adds Attack Power, which is important for blunt weapons that deal their damage in slower, heavier strikes.
The 3 Abyss Core slots complement the weapon's built-in Attack Speed Lv. 1. A strong core configuration for the Bonepit Mace is to add a Critical Rate core (covering the stat the weapon lacks), an Attack Power core for raw damage, and a utility core such as Spirit restoration. This setup creates a well-rounded blunt weapon with speed, crit potential, and sustain.
Maces in Crimson Desert deal blunt damage, which is especially effective at breaking enemy guards and applying stagger. The Bonepit Mace's Attack Speed Lv. 1 bonus allows you to swing faster than baseline maces, letting you land more hits and build up stagger more quickly. This is particularly useful against bosses and elite enemies that have long stagger meters.
The Bonepit Mace pairs naturally with a shield from the same equipment family. While a Bonepit shield does not exist in the one-handed category, combining the mace with any sturdy shield (such as the Sydmon Round Shield or Golden Greed Shield) creates a reliable melee loadout.
Compared to other Bonepit weapons, the mace is the only one-handed option in the family. Players who want to stay in the Bonepit equipment theme while using a one-handed setup will find the Bonepit Mace to be their primary weapon choice, supplemented by a shield or a secondary off-hand weapon for dual-wielding.
