The Bekker Warhammer is a two-handed weapon in Crimson Desert from the Bekker equipment line, which also includes the Bekker Greathammer, Bekker Greataxe, Bekker Greatsword, and Bekker Spear. The Bekker brand represents early-game, utilitarian equipment that is readily craftable and provides a baseline for players building out their weapon arsenal.
At 13 base attack power with Critical Rate Lv. 1, the Bekker Warhammer is the lowest-attack warhammer among standard options. However, the Lv. 1 crit bonus gives it a small edge in effective damage compared to a purely flat-damage weapon at the same tier. The critical hits that occasionally land add meaningful burst damage on top of the warhammer's already concentrated striking force.

The Bekker Warhammer can be crafted at a Blacksmith after learning the recipe from the Two Handed Weapons of the World Vol. 1 crafting manual. This is one of the earliest crafting manuals available, making the Bekker Warhammer accessible early in the game. The weapon may also appear as random world loot in Pywel's open world.

Five Abyss Gear slots provide room to strengthen the weapon beyond its modest base stats. The built-in Lv. 1 crit rate can be expanded with additional crit cores, or players can focus on flat attack power to bring the 13 base closer to mid-tier warhammer levels. Early in the game, even basic Abyss Cores can make a noticeable difference in the weapon's overall performance.
The Bekker Warhammer occupies the entry-level position among warhammers. The Arlem Warhammer (14 attack, no crit) offers 1 more base attack but lacks the crit bonus, creating a trade-off between consistent damage and occasional burst. In practice, the difference between the two is small, and either serves as a functional early-game option for Oongka.
Both weapons are significantly weaker than later-game warhammers like the Bonepit Warhammer (19 attack) and the Ceremonial Warhammer (17 attack, Crit Rate Lv. 2). Players should plan to replace the Bekker Warhammer as they progress, but it remains serviceable for early-game content where enemy health pools are smaller.
The warhammer moveset concentrates damage into overhead slams and vertical strikes. Even with 13 base attack, the focused impact of these animations provides solid stagger potential against regular enemies, making the Bekker Warhammer useful for creating openings in the early game.
Like all standard weapons, the Bekker Warhammer can be refined at a Blacksmith to increase its base attack value. Refinement is worth considering if the weapon will be used for an extended period, but players who expect to upgrade soon may prefer to save their refinement materials for a stronger weapon.
The Bekker Warhammer is a good first crafting project for Oongka if no better warhammer is available. The Vol. 1 manual is easy to find, and the material cost is low.
The Lv. 1 crit bonus makes this weapon slightly better than the Arlem Warhammer in effective DPS despite having 1 less base attack, especially in longer fights where the crits accumulate.
Save your higher-quality Abyss Cores for a better weapon. Use basic or common cores in the Bekker Warhammer since you will likely replace it before long.
