Seasonings are a type of item in Alabaster Dawn. They are obtained by foraging and used at cooking pots.
How Seasonings Work
A seasoning is not part of any recipe. When cooking a meal, Juno can optionally add one seasoning at the cooking pot, which grants a special additional Boost on top of the recipe's normal effect. Seasonings are consumed when used, like ingredients. Only one seasoning can be added per cook, and the add-on Boost stacks with the recipe's main Boost charges.
List Of Seasonings
The launch build includes a single seasoning. More are expected to be added in future patches, with one per Aspect being a likely framework based on the Scorchili description.
Name | Rarity | Description | Boost | Obtained |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Scorchili | 1 | A pepper which resembles a flickering flame. Found mostly in southern parts of the Koro Valley. The origin of the word dates back to the Age of the Firstborn and roughly translates to "burns twice". | Finishing Word x2: Crescendo +30%, duration 1m. Increases the damage of finishing attacks for one minute. | Forage from Scorchili Plants in Koro Valley. The Boost is also automatically obtained when starting the Trial of Aether. |
