Shoemaker's Bench is an armor and clothing craft station in Windrose. It is an upgrade extender for the Armor and Clothing Workshop that unlocks footwear recipes across the full boot and sandal family. While the bench sits inside the workshop footprint, the base station gains access to every boot in the game's rare armor sets.

Shoemaker's Bench is an upgrade extender that snaps to an Armor and Clothing Workshop. Placing it inside the base station's extender footprint unlocks the recipes gated behind this extender on the base station's own craft list. It does not craft items on its own; the base station handles all recipes. The bench works alongside the other clothing extenders, so a fully fitted workshop with all of its extenders attached can produce every clothing slot in one place.
The Shoemaker's Bench is the dedicated footwear extender. The boots for all six rare armor sets read from this extender's unlock table, so without the bench attached you cannot craft any of the dedicated foot pieces. The boots split by their base material the same way the rest of each set does: ingot-based sets use heavier metal trim, leather sets lean on hide, and cloth sets stay light.

Two of the three build materials are refined goods rather than raw drops, which is why the bench reads as a mid-game project rather than a starter station:
Material | How It Is Made |

Refined at the Tanning Rack from Rough Hide plus Tannin
Woven from Flax Fiber, which grows in the Foothills
Felled from the denser tree clusters in the Foothills and deeper biomes; ordinary Wood will not substitute |
The Shoemaker's Bench is the dedicated footwear extender. Every armor set's boots read from this extender's unlock table, so neglecting the Shoemaker's Bench caps armor loadout quality at bare-foot defense values. Tanned Leather from the Tanning Rack and 15 Linen Fabric put the build cost firmly in mid-game refining territory. Snap it next to the workshop alongside the other clothing extenders so that switching between a boot recipe and a body-armor recipe never means walking to a second station.
Build a Tanning Rack first. Tanned Leather is made from Rough Hide plus Tannin and is the single gating material for the Shoemaker's Bench.
Boots and sandals on most armor sets are crafted here even if the other pieces read from different extenders. Build all three Equipment extenders for full coverage.
Thirty Hardwood is a lot of wood; bring a Copper or Iron axe and clear a Foothills tree cluster before starting.
Match the boots to the rest of your set. Mixing a leather boot under an ingot body works, but each set is balanced to be worn together, so the dedicated boot for your chosen set is usually the better pick.

The bench recipe is unlocked through the Linen Fabric Production discovery, the same progression milestone that opens the rest of the Foothills cloth chain built from Flax Fiber.
Place the bench near the Armor and Clothing Workshop so the workshop registers it as an attached extender and adds its footwear recipes to the craft list.
Shoemaker's Bench is part of the crafting progression chain rather than a standalone collectible. Use the recipe, station, and material rows above to trace what unlocks it, what it consumes, and which linked upgrades or materials should be prepared before building it.
