Roof Corner (Leaves)

A reverse roof corner made of leaves at a 45 degree angle. The corner piece closes the gable ends of a pitched roof where two sloped faces meet, leaving a clean edge instead of an open triangular gap. It belongs to the leaf roof set, one of the earliest roofing tiers in Windrose.

Roof Corner (Leaves) shares the 500 max health of the leaf roof tier and is taught by Plans: Leaf Roofs and Triangular Walls, which is available from the start of the game. The corner works alongside the flat panels and the ridge cap to complete a peaked roof. Set siblings:

Function and Placement

Place Roof Corner (Leaves) at the gable end of a pitched roof, where it caps the angled junction the flat panels cannot close on their own. Without corner and ridge pieces a peaked roof is left with a visible seam and an open triangular gap at each end. Pair it with Roof Ridge (Leaves) along the top and the matching Triangular Wall (Bark) to fill the gable wall below. Like the rest of the leaf tier it carries 500 health and is best upgraded to a clay or stone roof once Foothills resources are available.
