Split roster/comparison scaling grades into Rare and Epic tiers

Club is a Uncommon club-class melee weapon in Windrose. Sturdy and very heavy. What else do you need from a club?
Clubs are one-handed blunt Crude weapons that scale with Strength. Clubs cannot Perfect Block, so club builds lean into heavy-stagger hits, posture damage, and Strength-stat bonuses.
Field | Value |
|---|---|
Weapon Class | |
Rarity | Uncommon |
Damage | 280 Crude |
Scaling | Strength (B) |
ATK (Item Level 15) | 380 |
ATK (Level 1 crafted) | 100 |
Stack Size | 1 |
Flavor | An excellent way to get your point across, straight into your opponent's head. |
Craft at the Weaponsmith Workshop (Level 1). Base recipe: Wood x10, Copper Ingot x5.
Upgrading raises the item level (and ATK) in bands, each with its own material cost. Leveling from 1 to 15 is the standard path for every melee weapon before ascension.
Item Level | Station | Materials |
|---|---|---|
Lvl 2-5 | Weaponsmith Workshop Lvl 1 | Wood x10, Copper Ingot x5 |
Lvl 6-10 | Weaponsmith Workshop Lvl 2 | Hardwood x12, Foothills Iron Ingot x5, Smithing Flux x3 |
Lvl 11-15 | Weaponsmith Workshop Lvl 3 | Hardwood x8, Mire Metal Ingot x5, Smithing Flux x3 |
Crafted at the starting Weaponsmith Workshop with wood and copper only.
Occasionally dropped by coastal outlaws.

Cheapest melee opener in the game since it needs no hide. Great first weapon for Strength-oriented builds until a Rare Sturdy Mace or Crusher is available.
Trade-hit with heavy swings and stagger chains since clubs cannot Perfect Block. Keep an eye on posture bars because most club effects and talents compound when enemies are staggered rather than just damaged.
Strength-scaling weapons pull from the Strength and Mastery branches of the Talent System. Relevant picks include talents that boost Crude damage, two-handed melee damage, posture break on staggered enemies, and stamina-efficient heavy attacks. Strength weapons also pair well with the Crusher talent branch when it is available as a training option.
See the Talent System article for the current list of unlockable talents and their exact bonus values. Respeccing talents costs an in-game currency, so early-game branch commitments tend to lock in weapon pairings for the rest of the playthrough.
Club sits alongside 5 other clubs on the current live index. Consider the alternatives:
Swamp Creature's Tooth: Rare / Epic, 280 Crude, Strength (B). Critical Hits with this weapon no longer deal bonus Damage, but instead trigger a burst of Distortion, dealing Damage to all nearby enemies.
Smasher: Uncommon, 225 Crude, Strength (A). Hits have a small chance to knock enemies down. The higher your Strength, the higher the chance.
Crusher: Rare / Epic, 290 Crude, Strength (C at Rare, B at Epic). Hits have a small chance to knock enemies down. The higher your Strength, the higher the chance.
Bonebreaker: Rare / Epic, 300 Crude, Strength (B at Rare, A at Epic). The more Stamina you have, the more Damage the weapon deals.
Sturdy Mace: Rare / Epic, 295 Crude, Strength (A at Rare, S at Epic). Increases Posture Points by 1.
