Applied Title Case to body headings
Suncloud Sip is a Juicer-crafted drink in Starsand Island that grants the Double Loot buff when consumed. It is one of only 20 recipes in the game that provide a temporary buff, and it is the only recipe that enhances loot drops through the Bounty Hunter profession skill. The drink restores 136 Energy and sells for 400 Gold, making it both a useful combat companion and a moderately profitable item to sell.
The recipe requires 12x Wheat and 1x Corn, both of which are common farm crops. Unlike many buff recipes that require rare or seasonal ingredients, the Suncloud Sip relies entirely on grain crops that most players already grow in quantity. The recipe is available by default once you have access to the Juicer, so there is no unlock quest or recipe scroll to hunt for.

The Suncloud Sip is crafted exclusively at the Juicer. It cannot be made at the Campfire, Gas Stove, or any other cooking station. The Juicer applies a 1.105x value multiplier to processed items, which contributes to the drink's 400 Gold sell price. Load the 12 Wheat and 1 Corn into the Juicer, and the drink is produced after a short processing time.
The Double Loot buff is the defining feature of the Suncloud Sip. When active, the buff works in conjunction with the Bounty Hunter profession skill. Whenever the Bounty Hunter skill triggers during combat, there is a chance to obtain double drops from defeated enemies. This effectively multiplies the rewards you receive from enemy kills while the buff window is open.
Important: The Double Loot buff does not function independently. It specifically enhances the Bounty Hunter skill, which is an exploration-line profession skill that grants additional coins from defeating enemies. If you have not unlocked the Bounty Hunter skill, consuming the Suncloud Sip will still grant the buff, but there will be no Bounty Hunter triggers for it to enhance.
Duration: 240 seconds (4 minutes of real in-game time). This is one of the longest buff durations in the game, shared with Watering Mastery, Creamy Seeds, Bonus Ore, and Field Prep Mastery.
Stacking: 1x only. Eating additional Suncloud Sips while the buff is active will not increase its potency or refresh the timer. You simply waste the extra servings.
Replacement: Only one food buff can be active at a time. Eating another buff food (such as Green Grape Juice or Mirthshroom Soup) will replace your Double Loot buff. Eating non-buff food for energy does not cancel it.
Visual indicator: While the buff is active, a buff icon appears next to your stamina bar in the top-left corner of the screen. The remaining duration counts down in real time.
The Suncloud Sip recipe is classified as a Default recipe, meaning it is available from the moment you have a functioning Juicer. There is no recipe scroll to find and no quest to complete. Once you build a Juicer and interact with it, the Suncloud Sip will already appear in the recipe list alongside other default Juicer recipes like Rosy Glow.
To unlock the Juicer itself, purchase the Juicer blueprint from Aurelis at the Aureleaf Kitchen in Starsand Town. The blueprint costs Gold and becomes available as you progress through the Crafter profession questline. After purchasing the blueprint, craft the Juicer at your Worktable using 5 Hardwood, 2 Copper Sheets, and 3 Glass. Place it on your Hopeland property and you can start making drinks immediately.
Each serving of Suncloud Sip requires 12 Wheat and 1 Corn. This makes it one of the most ingredient-heavy drink recipes in the Juicer, but both ingredients are common grain crops that are easy to farm in bulk.
Wheat is a Starter-tier crop that grows in all four seasons. Seeds cost 50 Gold each from the Happiness Seed Shop and require no Farmer certification to purchase. Each Wheat plant takes 18 hours to mature and yields 4 Wheat per harvest. Since one Suncloud Sip requires 12 Wheat, you need three full harvests (from three separate plants) to produce one serving.
Wheat is a single-harvest crop, meaning you must replant after each pick. To maintain a steady supply for Suncloud Sip production, keep at least 9 to 12 Wheat plants growing at all times. This gives you enough Wheat every 18 hours for 3 to 4 drinks. Set up sprinklers to automate watering and reduce the daily labor involved. If you obtain Everlasting Wheat Seeds through the Eternal Blessings farming skill, the plants will regrow automatically after each harvest, eliminating the need to replant.
Corn is an Intermediate-tier crop that grows during Summer and Autumn. Seeds cost 230 Gold from the Happiness Seed Shop and require the Intermediate Farmer certification from Graminova. Each Corn plant takes 4 days and 12 hours to mature and yields 4 Corn per harvest. Since each Suncloud Sip only needs 1 Corn, a single Corn harvest produces enough for 4 drinks.
The seasonal limitation of Corn is the main bottleneck for year-round Suncloud Sip production. Corn only grows in Summer and Autumn, so you need to stockpile Corn during those seasons to carry you through Spring and Winter. A simple approach is to grow 8 to 10 Corn plants during Summer and Autumn and store the surplus in your chest. Each plant yields 4 Corn, so 10 plants produce 40 Corn total, enough for 40 Suncloud Sips. You can also produce your own Corn Seeds using the Grinder (2 Corn per 1 Corn Seeds packet) once you reach the Senior Farmer tier, cutting ongoing seed costs.
Ingredient | Quantity Needed | Seed Cost | Raw Sell Value | Season |
|---|---|---|---|---|
12 | 150g (3 seed bags at 50g each; yields 12 Wheat) | 192g (12 x 16g) | All Seasons | |
1 | 57.5g (1/4 of a 230g seed bag) | 170g (but only 1 used) | Summer, Autumn |
The raw sell value of the ingredients (192 Gold for Wheat plus about 42.5 Gold for one Corn at 170g/4) totals roughly 235 Gold. The finished Suncloud Sip sells for 400 Gold, giving a profit margin of approximately 165 Gold per drink from ingredient conversion alone. However, most players craft this drink for the Double Loot buff rather than pure profit. If you want a higher-margin Juicer product for selling, Grape Juice requires only 2 grapes per serving and offers simpler profit math.
Because the Double Loot buff lasts 240 seconds and only works when the Bounty Hunter skill triggers, timing and preparation matter. Here are practical strategies to get the most out of each Suncloud Sip.
Make sure you have the Bounty Hunter profession skill unlocked before relying on this buff. The skill is part of the exploration profession line. Without it, the buff has nothing to enhance.
Stock up on weapons and combat equipment before entering a combat zone. You want to spend the full 240 seconds fighting enemies, not running back to craft gear.
Bring additional non-buff food for energy. Eating stamina food does not cancel your active Double Loot buff, so you can keep fighting without losing the effect.
The Moonlit Forest is the primary combat zone in Starsand Island and the best place to use the Double Loot buff. Dense enemy spawns mean more Bounty Hunter triggers per minute.
Deeper floors of the Moonlit Forest have stronger enemies that drop better loot. If your gear can handle it, push deeper before drinking the Suncloud Sip to maximize the value of each double drop.
Combine the buff with a focused, rapid-clear approach. Move quickly between enemy groups and avoid spending buff time on resource nodes or exploration.
Consume the Suncloud Sip right before engaging the first group of enemies, not while traveling to the combat zone. Every second of the 240-second window counts.
Since the buff cannot be stacked or refreshed, do not eat a second Suncloud Sip while the first is still active. Wait until the buff icon disappears from your stamina bar, then drink another serving.
Plan your combat routes to hit as many enemy groups as possible within 4 minutes. Pre-clear any non-combat obstacles before activating the buff.
The Juicer produces several buff drinks, each targeting a different activity. Here is how the Suncloud Sip compares to the other buff-granting Juicer recipes.
Recipe | Buff | Effect | Duration | Stacks | Ingredients |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Suncloud Sip | Double Loot | Chance for double drops when Bounty Hunter triggers | 240s | 1x | |
Bonus Ore | Extra ore from mining nodes | 240s | 5x | Green Grape x2 | |
Bonus Timber | Extra wood from chopping trees | 60s | 5x | Red Grape x2 | |
Ready on the Spot | Processing and crafting complete instantly | 120s | 1x | ||
Bonus Ore | Extra ore from mining nodes | 240s | 5x | (varies) |
The Suncloud Sip stands out as the only Juicer drink that enhances combat rewards rather than gathering or crafting. Its 240-second duration is tied for the longest among all buff drinks, giving a generous window for combat. However, its 1x stack limit means you cannot amplify the effect the way you can with Grape Juice (which stacks up to 5x for increasing returns). Players who regularly explore the Moonlit Forest will find the Suncloud Sip worth crafting alongside their gathering buffs.
Wheat grows in all four seasons with an 18-hour cycle, so it is easy to keep a constant supply. Dedicate a row of 12 farm tiles specifically for Suncloud Sip wheat to simplify your workflow.
Corn is the seasonal bottleneck. Grow extra during Summer and Autumn and store the harvest in a chest near your Juicer. A stockpile of 40 Corn lasts through an entire Spring and Winter.
The Suncloud Sip sells for 400 Gold, which is one of the higher sell prices among Juicer drinks. If you find yourself with surplus Wheat and Corn but do not need the buff, producing Suncloud Sips for sale is a solid use of those crops.
Since only one buff can be active at a time, decide before each outing whether you need Double Loot (combat), Bonus Ore (mining), or Bonus Timber (logging). Carrying one of each and switching based on the activity is an efficient approach.
The recipe is available by default with no unlock quest, so new players with a Juicer can start crafting it immediately. Just remember that the buff is only effective once you have the Bounty Hunter skill from the exploration profession.
Pair the Suncloud Sip with the strongest weapons and armor you have available. Faster kills mean more Bounty Hunter triggers within the 240-second window, and more triggers mean more chances for the Double Loot effect to activate.
