Maple Reed is an area on Starsand Island best known as the location of the Hot Springs — one of the primary stamina recovery methods in the game. The area sits between Starsand Town's residential district and the coastal Crane Cape area, offering multiple hot spring spots where players can rest and recharge.
The Hot Springs are Maple Reed's defining feature. Multiple hot spring spots are scattered around the area, and any of them work the same way.
Buy a Hot Spring Ticket: Purchase from Zerine's General Store or any vending machine on the island. Tickets cost 100 Coins each (occasional random discounts).
Keep the ticket in your bag: No need to equip it.
Walk up to any hot spring spot: Interact with it and the ticket is consumed automatically.
Rest and recover: Your character sits in the hot spring and stamina regenerates.
You recover roughly 1 stamina per real second, or about 2–3 stamina per in-game minute. Filling a completely empty stamina bar takes a while, so it is difficult to use the hot springs twice in a single day.
The Recuperate perk (Workpedia → Apprentice Crafter) boosts stamina regeneration while sitting, which may enhance the hot springs' efficiency.
Early game: The Hot Springs are one of the best stamina recovery methods when food is scarce. A 100-coin ticket is a solid deal.
Late game: Once you have cooking recipes unlocked, eating food becomes faster. See the cooking guide.
Visiting the Hot Springs is listed as one of the romantic date activities you can do with NPCs, alongside watching TV, sitting on swings, and riding bikes.
Maple Reed contains at least 2 treasure chests:
#32: At the back of the hot springs area. Follow the building around to the right.
#33: Near the hot springs area — contains a Satellite Dish Blueprint and 5 Hot Spring Tickets.
Maple Reed is within walking distance of Starsand Town, located between the town's residential and dining district and the coastal Crane Cape area. There is no dedicated bus stop at Maple Reed, so the nearest fast travel point is in the Starsand Town area.
Starsand Town — The main hub, south of Maple Reed.
Crane Cape — The coastal pier and lighthouse area, further along.
Bloom Atelier — Serena's salon, located nearby in northern Starsand Town.
Hot Spring Tickets can also be found in treasure chests around the island.
If you are far from Maple Reed and low on stamina, eating food is more practical.
The hot springs are a great early-game fallback — 100 Coins for a full stamina refill beats spending ingredients.
