Celestwave is the most challenging of the three offshore deep-sea fishing zones in Starsand Island. It contains the rarest and most valuable fish in the entire game, making it the ultimate destination for dedicated anglers. Fish here fight harder and require top-tier fishing rods to catch reliably.
Like the other deep-sea zones, Celestwave is accessed via the Parrot Ship from Starsand Port. Complete the Starsand Port Construction quest first, then speak to Marston and select Celestwave. Note that while the port gives you access to all three zones, you should progress through Coral Sea and Luminwave before attempting Celestwave.
Celestwave fish have the highest tension values in the game. Even with a Noble Rod, many catches will be extremely difficult. For comfortable fishing:

Celestwave contains the rarest fish in Starsand Island. These species are required for Islandpedia completion and are the most valuable fish for selling. Some Celestwave species are also key ingredients in the highest-tier cooking recipes that provide powerful buffs.

Do not attempt Celestwave until you have at minimum a Titanium Rod. The fish here will snap Noble Rods regularly.
Celestwave fish sell for the highest prices in the game. A full inventory from one trip can fund days of other activities.
Use cooking buffs that reduce fishing tension or increase catch rates before heading out.
Some Celestwave fish only appear during specific seasons or times of day. Check the Islandpedia for spawn conditions.
Bring a full stock of all three bait types. Running out of the right bait in Celestwave wastes a valuable trip.
The profession skills for Angler include tension reduction upgrades. Invest in these before tackling Celestwave.
