A few practical tips for new Pioneers getting started in Soulbound: Online. The core rhythm is Home, Craft, Dungeon, Gather, Home, so most advice comes back to feeding that loop.
Tip | Why It Helps |
|---|---|
Build by gear, not by class | The game is classless, so swap gear to change between tank, healer, and damage roles instead of committing to one. |
Chase relics that reshape abilities | Inside a run, favor relics that change how an ability behaves over ones that only add a flat stat. The strongest builds are usually emergent. |
Run in co-op | Dungeons scale for solo play or up to 3-player co-op; split tank, healer, and damage between the party to clear dungeons faster. |
Invest in your base | Higher-level crafting stations unlock better gear tiers, so upgrading your base is what raises your power ceiling. |
Spend Yoku wisely | Yoku fuels your relic picks and reward chests inside a run, so plan around how much you have. |
Gather in the overworld | The overworld has no roaming enemies, so it is for gathering, trading, and life skills; fighting happens in dungeons. |
