Bentham is a playable character in Silver Palace introduced through an official character title page. Her occupation is Secretary and her title is "The Quartz Net". Her official profile identifies her specifically as Secretary of the United Mining Industry board office, usually shortened to UMI, which places her inside the corporate power bloc described in Factions.

The official title page shows a short woman with pale lilac hair in a grey blazer over a pink bodice, white shorts, black tights and clear high heels, perched on a translucent stool and holding a small glowing orb. Character
Bentham is presented as a kind and well-mannered professional who holds considerable power behind the scenes, pulling strings rather than exercising authority openly. Her official profile states that her childhood dreams now drive her to ascend ever higher, and adds that the rot of ambition spares nobody, closing with the observation that those who keep marching into the future are never truly innocent at heart.
Her quote makes that ambition explicit: "Could this be the pinnacle of power? Is that all there is? Well then, the question now is, how may I break free of this trivial system?" The framing sets her apart from characters motivated by duty or vengeance, and ties her to the corporate control of the Silverium industry that underpins much of Silvernia's politics.
United Mining Industry
The United Mining Industry is the corporate body Bentham serves. Its appearance in official character material gives a name to the corporate monopolies previously described only in general terms, and connects the mining of Silverium to a specific institution with a board and an executive office. Bentham is a 4-star character of the Outlaw class, a class first given a playable carrier in the second closed beta, and carries the Glacies elemental attribute. The second test's own reward announcement lists her as the 4-star Outlaw "Bentham | Secretary", granted free on Day 2 of its fourteen-day login track. Those values describe that build rather than a finished release version.
In combat Bentham fights with whip, with blades mounted in her shoes.
Like every playable character, Bentham channels these abilities through a personal Reactor, the same technology described on Silverium and Spinotrodes. The elemental attribute also determines which Resonance effect triggers once the Resonance meter fills during a fight.

The kit below was recorded in the second closed beta build, the Dichotomy Beta Test, so the values describe that build rather than a finished release version. Bentham runs on two resources: Funds, which ticks up passively to a cap of 80 and also builds on hit, and Liquid Assets, capped at six and spent inside a Contractual Circle she draws with a held input.

Bentham can be invited to the Detective's Office through the Acquaintance affinity layer, given gifts there, and summoned as a companion. Trust builds from gifts and from ordinary shared activity: fighting alongside the Detective, exploring, and eating together. The details below were recorded in the second closed beta build.

Five Acquaintance levels are tracked for Bentham. In that build the first four levels each paid Ounces and reading material, and the fifth paid a Standard Shot together with Reactor Crystals. The first level unlocked the Keep Company interaction and the second a personal letter, while the fifth unlocked an interaction called "Lean on You". Those figures come from a test build and are the kind of number most likely to be retuned before release.
The panel also tracks how she reads the Detective as trust grows. At level two her recorded impression is "A Useful Tool", which sits squarely with the transactional streak in her official profile.
Name
The official character index does not use one name for her across languages. The English entry reads Bentham, the Simplified Chinese entry 边沁 and the Korean entry 벤담, all the same name rendered three ways. The Japanese entry instead names her ベリンダ, read as Belinda. It is a deliberate localisation choice applied to the same character, not a second character and not a roster change.
