Overview
Reactor Crystals are the premium currency in Silver Palace. They are not spent at a banner directly: in the second closed beta build they bought the named Shot items that the banners consume, listed at 360 Reactor Crystals per Shot on the exchange counter, and they also paid for the first test's character exchange. What the Shots then buy is covered on the gacha system page.
An earlier figure of 160 Reactor Crystals per pull, with a guaranteed 5-star at 80 pulls, circulated around the first closed beta. The second build's own shop and its probability disclosure describe a different structure, and the developer has since said the monetisation design, the pity specification included, is still being settled. The older figures are therefore not carried on this page.
How to Obtain
During the Monotype Beta, Reactor Crystals could be earned through multiple entries:
City Roaming (daily quests): Completing daily tasks awards a set amount of Reactor Crystals. This is likely the most consistent source of crystals for regular players.
City Exploration (exploration rewards): Finding chests, completing puzzles, and discovering points of interest in the open world of Silvernia awards crystals as one-time rewards.
Deep Cognito (challenge mode): Clearing combat challenge stages rewards crystals alongside other materials.
Open-world chests: Standard chests scattered throughout the game world contain small amounts of Reactor Crystals.
Sign-In Bonuses
The Monotype Beta provided substantial Reactor Crystal bonuses through the sign-in reward system:
Day 3 bonus: 5,000 Reactor Crystals
Day 5 bonus: 5,000 Reactor Crystals
These 10,000 total crystals from sign-in alone were enough for over 60 pulls, giving beta testers generous access to the gacha system. Launch sign-in bonuses may differ in amount and distribution.
Second Closed Beta
The second closed beta handed out Reactor Crystals on a much larger scale than the first. Its twenty-one-day cumulative login mail alone awarded 73,800 Reactor Crystals along with 72 Stabilisers. Reactor Crystals were spendable across both banner families in that test, the limited-time Repertoires and Monologues as well as the standard ones, alongside the named pull items introduced for each.
Documented Payouts
The second closed beta build paid Reactor Crystals out of nearly every progression track at once, which is what made that test's pull budget so large.
Source | Payout in that build |
|---|---|
50 at the 60-Step milestone and 90 at the 100-Step milestone, so 140 for a full daily clear | |
City Records | 300 for the first staged objective and 1,000 for completing the first phase, with smaller per-task payouts in between |
200 at Popularity level 5 and 360 at level 10 | |
Milestone rewards at Reputation levels 5, 15, 25, 35 and 45 | |
Cumulative login mail | 73,800 across the twenty-one-day track |
50 for the documented bounty writ, alongside Ounces |
Those are test-cycle numbers. A closed beta hands out currency to get systems exercised, so the ratio between the daily earn rate and the shop prices is the part most likely to change before release, not the list of sources.
Premium Purchasing
Whether Reactor Crystals can be purchased directly with real money, or whether players must first buy a premium currency intermediary (a common pattern in free-to-play games), has not been confirmed for the live service version. During the Monotype Beta, the cash shop was either limited or not fully functional, so the exact monetization flow from real money to gacha pulls could not be fully evaluated.
Economy Notes
Whatever the confirmed pull cost turns out to be, the daily earn rate from City Roaming and other repeatable activities will determine how quickly free-to-play players can accumulate enough for pity. The Crystal Exchange has an alternative path to obtaining specific characters outside the gacha banner system.
The Reactor Crystal amounts and earn rates described here come from the two closed betas and may change before launch. Economy tuning is one of the most common adjustments developers make between beta and release.
