Overview
The Pokedex Completion Room is a hidden area in Sparkling Skylands that most players overlook. It is concealed behind two blocks and requires a fully completed Pokedex to enter. Inside, you receive exclusive crafting recipes and a unique diploma certifying your accomplishment.
Location
The entrance is hidden behind two destructible blocks in Sparkling Skylands. The gate blends in with the surrounding terrain, making it easy to miss even after dozens of hours of play. Use Rock Smash to break the blocks covering the entrance.
How to Unlock
When you approach the gate, it displays the message: "To unlock the gate, please place a completed Pokedex with all Pokemon registered in it over the panel." This means you need all 300 Pokemon registered in your Habitat Dex before the gate will open. This includes Pokemon from limited-time events and Palette Town exclusives.
Rewards
The room contains a specialized printer device and unlocks three exclusive crafting recipes:
Recipe | Description |
|---|---|
Printer | A device that reads your Pokedex and prints a personalized diploma |
Shutter Door | A mechanical sliding door for building projects |
Card Reader | An electronic access panel that can be placed on buildings |
The printer generates a diploma item that can be hung on walls as a decoration. It serves as proof that you befriended every Pokemon in the game.
Tips
Check your Pokedex completion percentage before heading to the room. You need 100%.
Event Pokemon (such as Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff) count toward completion. You may need to time-travel to participate in past events.
The diploma is purely decorative. There are no gameplay advantages behind this gate.
