The Version 1.0 Update is the global launch release of Neverness to Everness, deployed on April 29, 2026. The update brings the live service from closed and open beta into the launch build that ships across PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The Mainland China client launched six days earlier on April 23, 2026 and shares most of its content with the global release.

Version 1.0 introduces the full 17-Esper roster, the Hethereau open world with six named regions, the launch lineup of 13 world bosses, the Anomaly Pilgrimage weekly endgame mode, the launch banner pair anchored by Nanally and Hotori, and the Twitch Drops launch promotion. The change list spans 626 individual entries across characters, weapons, vehicles, items, furniture, anomalies, monsters, and map markers.

The Version 1.0 Banners page tracks the rotating limited banners. The 1.0 patch cycle plays out across two phases.
Phase | Banner | Featured | Window |
|---|---|---|---|
Phase 1 | Apr 29, 2026 - May 13, 2026 | ||
Phase 2 | May 13, 2026 - Jun 3, 2026 |
Both phases use the Scarborough Fair board-game gacha mechanic. Featured S-Class characters are guaranteed at the soft pity threshold without a 50/50 coin flip, and pity carries over between character banners.
More than 40 new Arcs launch with the build. Arcs are the game's transforming weapon system: each Arc binds to a specific element and has its own moveset, level cap, and refinement tree. The launch lineup includes signature Arcs for every playable Esper plus a wider rotation of standard-pool drops.
Notable launch Arcs include Blow Up the Crowd, Eternal Waltz, The Last Rose, Stellar Veil, Marching Beyond Time, and the Tiger Special promotional Arc. Arc upgrade materials drop from Anomaly Commissions and the weekly Anomaly Pilgrimage encounters.
Thirteen world bosses are deployable across the open world at launch. The Bosses index covers each encounter, weakness, and reward, while the Anomalies overview explains the broader anomaly classification system.

The Anomaly Pilgrimage weekly endgame mode launches alongside Version 1.0. Players spend Character Pixels to challenge a rotating roster of weekly bosses, with up to three reward claims per week. Drops include materials used to enhance Esper Abilities. The two launch encounters are Morphix at Green Wall Slope in Bridge Crossings and The Never-ending Arachne at Talin Avenue.
Eighteen vehicles ship at launch across street cars, sport bikes, and special-event variants. The full list lives on the Vehicles index. Vehicle livery and customization options unlock through the Vehicle Customization system. The launch collaboration with Porsche brings the 918 Spyder into the rotation as a paid skin.
Esper loadouts use two equipment systems. Cartridges come in 14 elemental sets, while Modules come in 12 console-style configurations. Both systems gate at Hunter Level thresholds and feed into the broader Progression Systems loop.
Over 100 materials, currencies, and consumables enter the database with launch, plus more than 200 furniture pieces for the Housing System. Notable additions include the Anomaly Pilgrimage Material Selection Box, Hunter Guides tiered for level acceleration, and the dye family covering Light Dye, Colorless Dye, and Chaotic Dye for vehicle and outfit customization.
The full World Map of Hethereau opens at launch, divided into six named regions. The launch update tags 3,280 markers across the open world, with 114 fast-travel points distributed across ReroRero Phone Booths and Wertheimer Towers.
Region | Markers | Highlight |
|---|---|---|
711 | Origami Market, Clement Academy, Raindrop Court | |

The Cooking mini-game launches with a full recipe roster. Players gather ingredients across the open world, prepare dishes from gathered recipes, and feed them to companions for affinity bonuses. The launch lineup includes desserts such as the Cake Recipe and themed event dishes that unlock during the launch celebration window.
The launch build ships with the full endgame loop.

Mode | Refresh | Reward Theme |
|---|---|---|
Daily | Hunter EXP, materials, currencies | |
Weekly (3 attempts) | Esper Ability enhancement materials | |

Co-op, repeatable | Heist currency, profile cosmetics | |

Anomaly Dungeons such as The Bank and The Hospital support cross-platform co-op at launch. The Pink Paws Heist infiltration mission scales to a team of four with equalized stats so progression differences do not gate group play. PC, Mac, PS5, iOS, and Android players share the same servers and party freely across platforms thanks to Cross-Platform Play and Cross-Save.
The Crime and Wanted System turns optional troublemaking into emergent gameplay. Stealing vehicles, attacking civilians, or driving recklessly raises the player's wanted level and triggers police pursuit. Captured players can either serve out a sentence or stage a jailbreak through the Prison System.
The launch build runs on Unreal Engine 5.7, an upgrade from earlier beta builds. PC supports full ray tracing, path tracing, NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, and Lumen global illumination. PS5 Pro receives dedicated enhancements covering frame-rate, resolution, and DualSense haptic feedback. Mobile clients ship at high settings on flagship hardware with auto-scaling for older devices.
Three Music Collaborations debut alongside the launch build. Persona 5 Royal contributes Beneath the Mask -rain- and Life Will Change. Persona 5: The Phantom X contributes Wake Up Your Hero and additional tracks. Both partner soundtracks play through the in-game Walkman and in-car radio. A separate collaboration covers tracks from another partner soundtrack catalog.
The Twitch Drops launch promotion runs from Apr 29, 2026 to May 13, 2026. Six rewards unlock at watch-time tiers from 15 minutes to 2.5 hours total, covering Beetle Coins, Annulith, Chaotic Dye, De-Noise Solution, Elite Hunter Guide, and Manhole Boss. Drops are linked through the official Twitch campaign page and claimed in the in-game mailbox after a Twitch account link.
The Pre-Registration Rewards milestone tiers unlock at launch for every account that pre-registered before global open. The 30 million milestone delivers the free A-Class Esper Haniel, and the campaign reached 35 million pre-registrations by launch day, unlocking every threshold. Combined with the launch reward bundles, returning beta players had access to roughly 470 free pulls before spending real money.
Launch-window Redeem Codes are distributed through the official YouTube broadcast, the official X account, the Discord, and partnered creator channels. The launch slate covers Annulith, Beetle Coins, dyes, and Hunter Guides, each redeemable through the in-game mail interface.
Global launch covers Americas, Europe, Asia, and Southeast Asia regions on a unified service mesh. Mainland China runs on a separate client and account pool with its own patch cadence, banner schedule, and code prefix (YH). The Regional Servers and Launch FAQ pages cover account separation in detail.
Server load on launch day produced queue waits during peak Asia-region hours, and the Mainland China open beta a week prior also reported a launch-day login bottleneck. Both clients stabilized within hours, and post-launch follow-up patches address the remaining matchmaking and client-update issues. The Launch FAQ tracks the running list of acknowledged bugs and workarounds. Scheduled patch notes will appear on the Patch Notes hub.
Complete the prologue to unlock the in-game mail and the redeem-code interface, then claim launch codes immediately while they are valid.
Pre-registration milestone rewards are claimed automatically through the in-game mailbox once the player reaches the in-game checkpoint that opens the mail UI.
Save Solid Dice and Fabricated Dice for the limited banners; the standard pool refreshes every patch but limited windows close at the end of each phase.
Anomaly Pilgrimage attempts reset weekly. Run them once your team has at least one S-Class Esper at level 40 or higher to maximize material yield.
Twitch Drops run on cumulative watch time across any participating channel, not per stream, so background-watching catalog content qualifies for credit.
