Overview
Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is the mobile and PC spinoff of the Persona 5 series, and is one of the two Persona titles featured in the Version 1.0 launch music collaboration for Neverness to Everness. Nine tracks from The Phantom X soundtrack are included, the largest single collaboration partner contribution in NTE's launch music library. They play through the in-car radio while driving and through the Walkman portable music player on foot.
Persona 5: The Phantom X retains the visual identity, social-simulation structure, and acid-jazz musical signature of the mainline Persona 5, while introducing its own characters, story, and gacha-driven progression. The collaboration was first revealed during the April 18, 2026 Launch Preview Special Program and went live alongside global launch on April 29, 2026. There is no extra unlock requirement: the tracks are added to the player's library automatically once the relevant in-game music feature is unlocked.
Featured Tracks
The ten confirmed Phantom X tracks featured in NTE are listed below. Track type reflects the energy fit for in-game listening surfaces: Atmospheric tracks suit on-foot exploration and the calmer evening hours, while battle-energy tracks pair best with combat sequences and high-speed driving.
Track | Type | Best Fit |
|---|---|---|
Ambitions and Visions | Atmospheric / theme | Mid-tempo backdrop for routine traversal and city errands |
Show Stealer | High-energy battle theme | Anomaly skirmishes and arc encounters |
Wake Up Your Hero | Combat / battle theme | Boss windows and stagger-bar break sequences |
Desire Surrender | High-energy | Vehicle chases and Pink Paws Heist runs |
Deep Zone | Atmospheric | Late-night exploration around Hethereau's neon districts |
Last Strike | Battle / climax | Final phases of arc bosses and weekly raid attempts |
Rage Education | High-energy | Stylish action sequences and street racing |
Gone With The Storm | High-energy | Mob-clearing pulls and rapid traversal sections |
Star Shine | Atmospheric | Companion bond moments and reflective downtime |
Paradisum | Atmospheric | Late-night exploration and mellow downtime listening |
How to Listen
All featured Phantom X tracks are accessible through two in-game listening surfaces:
In-Car Radio. Tune the radio to a Phantom X-curated station while driving any vehicle around Hethereau. The radio remembers the last station played and re-uses it when the player re-enters a vehicle.
Walkman. Activate the portable music player during on-foot exploration to keep the same tracks playing across district transitions. The Walkman shows a small earbuds visual on the player when active.
Mix and shuffle. The interface supports skipping, pausing, and shuffling, and lets players blend Phantom X tracks with the Persona 5 Royal tracks and the Tower of Fantasy crossover tracks from the wider launch music library.
There is no progression gate beyond completing the prologue and unlocking the relevant interface (vehicle ownership for the radio, Walkman accessory unlock for on-foot listening). Players who finish the early-game intro have access to the full track set immediately.
Why P5X Tracks Fit NTE
Several thematic threads make the Phantom X soundtrack a strong fit for Neverness to Everness's urban-supernatural setting:
Modern urban backdrop. Both games are set in modern cities (Tokyo for the Phantom X, Hethereau for NTE) and share the evening-neon visual language that defines after-dark exploration.
Investigation and discovery framing. Phantom X's protagonists investigate cognitive distortions; NTE's Espers investigate anomalies. The musical pacing of the soundtrack tracks both gameplay loops.
Stylish action sequences. Tracks like Show Stealer and Wake Up Your Hero are designed for stylish combat encounters, which translate directly to NTE's action combat against anomaly bosses.
Reflective calm. Atmospheric tracks like Star Shine and Deep Zone provide the contemplative balance that suits city activities and Affinity Bond moments with companions.

Combined Persona Track Total
Combining the two Persona collaborations, Neverness to Everness features twelve Persona-series tracks at launch: ten from The Phantom X (this article) and two from Persona 5 Royal. This is the largest cross-publisher Persona music inclusion in a non-Atlus title to date and is a centrepiece of the Version 1.0 collaboration set on the radio and Walkman.
Launch Availability
The Persona 5: The Phantom X tracks were available immediately at server open on April 29, 2026 across all four global server regions (Asia, America, Europe, SEA) and on the Mainland China client which had already launched on April 23, 2026. There is no event window: the tracks are a permanent addition to the in-game music library rather than a limited-time crossover.
Both regional clients ship with the same track set; there is no Mainland China exclusive or global exclusive track at launch. Future tracks released through patch updates will follow the same parity expectation unless the developer announces otherwise.
Tips
Mix Phantom X tracks with the Persona 5 Royal pair for variety. The two Persona-series soundtracks complement each other; the Phantom X tracks provide the high-energy backbone while the two Royal tracks anchor the contemplative end of the playlist.
Use the Walkman during on-foot bond activities. The atmospheric tracks (Deep Zone, Star Shine) suit slower exploration and Affinity Bond interactions with companions.
Reserve the high-energy tracks for combat or driving. Wake Up Your Hero, Show Stealer, and Last Strike pair well with anomaly fights and Pink Paws Heist runs.
Watch for additional tracks via patch notes. The launch ten are confirmed in-game. Additional Phantom X tracks are expected to be added across the Version 1.x cycle; keep an eye on the in-game music library after each patch update.
