Nestbound Bird is an Anomaly Hunt encounter in Neverness to Everness. The fight takes place in Hethereau and is part of the game's weekly combat loop. Nestbound Bird is weak to Cosmos damage.
Lore and Description
The mother bird, nesting deep in the shadows, calls out to lost children with its gentle, sweet female voice, asking if they would like to become her children. If the poor child agrees, they will remain in the nest forever. The encounter's flavor lays the trap of the Anomaly bare: a soft voice luring victims into a permanent home.

General Combat Guidance
Fill the boss's break meter with consistent attacks and reward-heavy defensive inputs. Successful parries and dodges contribute significantly more to the break bar than a hit, and a clean parry also fills the Esper Cycle Meter instantly. Save ultimates and heaviest skills for the stagger window that follows a full break. Nestbound Bird takes greatly increased damage while staggered, so burst output during this phase largely determines whether the encounter clears quickly. Build the team around the Cosmos weakness. Characters aligned with Cosmos will see the largest damage multiplier, and team compositions that can enable elemental reactions on top of that attribute will apply additional pressure to the break bar between stagger windows.
Weakness and Resistances
The table below lists the boss's raw resistance value for each of the six elements. A lower number marks the element the boss is most vulnerable to. For Nestbound Bird, that element is Cosmos.

Anima | 0.20 | Standard |
Incantation | 0.20 | Standard |
Chaos | 0.20 | Standard |

Encounter Notes
Nestbound Bird and Morphix together form the Cosmos-weak pair of the launch boss rotation. A Cosmos team built around any combination of Chiz, Hotori, and Esper Zero with Edgar as the A-rank slot can clear both fights in one weekly cycle without rebuilding the rotation.
