Game World Context

Nitsa will inhabit Hethereau, the modern supernatural metropolis where the game takes place. The city presents an urban environment of highways, commercial districts, and residential areas that coexists with paranormal phenomena known as Anomalies. Players take on the role of an Appraiser, an investigator who explores these disturbances with a team of companions.

Esper Elements and Combat

The game's combat system centers on six elemental attributes that interact through the Esper Cycle System: Cosmos, Anima, Incantation, Chaos, Psyche, and Lakshana. During combat, players build an Esper Meter by attacking and then switch between characters to trigger Esper attacks. Chaining these attacks across different elements produces reactions such as Blossom, Hexed, Scorch, Nova, and Remora. Each reaction offers distinct tactical advantages, from area damage to damage over time to crowd control.
