Overview
Cimitrick (Northern) is the northern regional form of Cimitrick, recorded as Animon No. 112 in the in-game index. It is a Data Type creature carrying the Sereum Attribute, and it is found only in the northern half of Talea, the region of Logos. The southern form shares the same index number but differs in typing, attribute, evolution and temperament, so the two are worth treating as separate creatures when you build a team.
Northern Cimitrick have built a working relationship with the people of the north, who put them to work as spies. They stay on task to the very end, using their intelligence and their hi-tech antennas to slip past danger, intercept radio signals and set up ambushes.
Type and Weaknesses
LumenTale sets weaknesses and resistances per species rather than from a single fixed chart, and you read them by scanning a creature in battle. See Type Effectiveness Explained for how scanning works and Hidden Types Explained for how a second element factors into damage.
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Animon No. | 112 |
Primary Type | |
Hidden Type | None listed |
Attribute | |
Attribute Effect | Increases the chance of landing critical hits, and each critical hit grants 1 extra TP. |
Weak To |
Scanning a Cimitrick (Northern) in battle reports it as weak to Fire and Virus. It carries no hidden element, so its matchups follow its primary type alone.
Evolution Line
Stage | Method | Result |
|---|---|---|
Cimitrick (Northern) | Defeat 20 Cimitrick (Northern) while it is in your party |
The northern line runs one stage deep. The requirement is a battle counter rather than a level threshold, so keep it in the party while you clear its own habitat and the count builds on its own. The southern form takes a different route entirely; see Cimitrick for that line.
Locations
Locations |
|---|
Area 18, Area 22, Area 25, Titan Quarry, Biome Plains, Glacial Peak |
Every one of these sits in the northern half of the map, which is the practical reason the southern form never shows up alongside it. Use the Interactive Map: All Animon Locations to pin down exact spawn points, and see How to Catch Animon for the catching loop itself.

The southern form is a cautious shell-dweller that opens with lightning attacks and follows up with a fainting gas. It turns up around Area 08, Area 14 and Darkwood Forest. It evolves into Venomera at a Mystical Relic ritual, which is a different destination from the northern line. Which half of Talea you commit to after Out of Ideas therefore decides which of the two you meet first; see Should You Go North or South?.
