Parking is part of InZOI's vehicle system, which was significantly expanded in the v0.7.0 Anniversary Update (March 2026 Update). When a Zoi drives to a destination, their vehicle needs to be parked upon arrival. The parking system is largely automated, but understanding how it works helps you plan your Zoi's transportation and avoid potential issues like car theft.
When your Zoi arrives at a destination by car, the game automatically parks the vehicle in the nearest available parking spot. You do not need to manually steer into a space or parallel park. The Zoi simply pulls up to the location, exits the vehicle, and the car appears in a designated parking area.

Parking spots are available at most locations throughout the game world:
Community lots: Parks, gyms, restaurants, shops, movie theaters, and other public venues all have designated parking areas.
Workplaces: Career locations include employee parking. Your Zoi's car waits in the lot during their shift.
Residential areas: Homes and apartments have driveways or garage spaces. When your Zoi returns home, their vehicle parks in the home's designated spot.
Street parking: Some city streets have curbside parking spots that Zois use when visiting areas without dedicated lots.
The v0.7.0 update introduced a car theft system. Parked vehicles are vulnerable to being stolen by NPCs, particularly in certain neighborhoods. The risk varies by location and time of day:
Higher risk areas: Downtown districts, nightlife zones, and less affluent neighborhoods have a greater chance of car theft occurring.
Lower risk areas: Residential driveways, gated communities, and well-lit commercial parking lots are safer.
Time of day: Cars parked overnight or in the evening hours face higher theft risk than those parked during daytime.
If your Zoi's car is stolen, they receive a notification and must either report the theft, purchase a replacement vehicle, or rely on public transit and walking until the situation is resolved.
Not all transportation requires parking. Here is how the different transportation methods compare:
Transport | Requires Parking | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Car | Yes | Automatic parking at destination. Subject to car theft. |
Bicycle | No | Bicycles are stowed automatically and cannot be stolen. |
Subway | No | Available in Dowon only. No vehicle needed. |
Walking | No | Always available. Slowest option. |
Taxi | No | Hailed on demand. No personal vehicle involved. |
When designing lots in Build Mode, you can place driveway and garage objects to create dedicated parking spaces for your Zoi's home. Larger lots can accommodate multiple vehicles, while apartment buildings typically have shared underground parking. The placement of parking structures affects the convenience of your Zoi's daily commute; a garage attached to the house means your Zoi can leave faster in the morning.
If you play in Bliss Bay, invest in a personal vehicle early. The city has no subway, so driving is the most efficient way to commute.
Park in well-lit commercial lots when visiting nightlife areas to reduce car theft risk.
Consider using bicycles for short trips. They are free, fast for nearby destinations, and immune to theft.
In Dowon, the subway is often faster than driving during peak hours. Save your car for trips to the outskirts.
If car theft becomes a recurring problem, check your parking location. Switching to a safer lot can solve the issue.
