Lots and Housing

Initial version
inZOI has two main lot categories:
Residential lots — where Zoi families live. These include standalone houses, villas, and apartment buildings. Apartments can go up to 30 floors.
Community lots — public spaces like parks, cafes, shops, entertainment venues, and government buildings. Players can edit community lots in Build Mode without spending any Meow.
Open the City Map (press M or use the smartphone City Map app). Gray lot icons are empty properties where you can build from scratch. Blue house icons are pre-built homes with existing furniture.
Click an uninhabited lot and select "Relocate Here" to move in. The info card shows the price, lot size, and occupancy details. Currently, you buy the full package: plot, building, and furniture together. Future updates should let you buy just the property or building without the furniture.
When relocating, you can sell your current property and choose to either sell the furniture or put it in storage. One thing to watch out for: moving into an occupied lot displaces that family from the city entirely.
Property loans were added with the August 2025 Island Getaway update. If a Zoi can't afford a house, check "Receive a move-in assistance loan" when selecting the property.
Bank loans — roughly 1% interest rate with predictable payment periods. The safer option.
Loan shark loans — 2,500 or 5,000 Meow at 5% interest, accessed through the Loan app on the smartphone. Fall behind on payments and a debt collector shows up. Some household items get seized and become unusable until you pay off the balance.
If a household's Meow balance drops below 1,000, the game sends a welfare check of 2,000 Meow automatically. A safety net for families that hit rock bottom.
Dowon has 12 residential lots, mostly on the smaller side. Lots range from compact apartments like Metro House (14m x 9.5m) to larger properties like Dowon Heights Building (28.5m x 37.5m). Other notable addresses: Aram Estate Property (19.5m x 25m), Junghwa Parkville (20m x 25.5m), and Evergreen House Property (16m x 15m).
Bliss Bay has 14 residential lots. Properties here are generally larger, fitting the suburban California vibe. The biggest lot is 510 Palm Tree Avenue at 35m x 39.5m. Other standouts: 1011 Willowtree Lane (39m x 20m), 203 Somerset Place (26m x 30m), and 420 Kingsbury Court (25m x 30m). Apartment options include City Nest Apartment (17.5m x 41m) and Lumiere (19.5m x 38.5m).
Cahaya is a tropical island destination added with the Island Getaway DLC. It has resort-style accommodations: Garden Villa, Premier Ocean View Villa, and Private Water Villa. The island is split across three landmasses — a main island for farming and fishing, a resort island for recreation, and a deserted island.
Five more cities are on the development roadmap: Brusimo, Goldenfield, Winiber, Haegang, and Recalleta. No specific lot details have been revealed for these yet.
