It is a Rabbit Hole career, meaning the Zoi boards a taxi and works off-screen rather than at a visible workplace. The Gangster career is the highest-paying career in the entire game, with the top rank earning 2,169 Meow per day.

If arrested, your Zoi will spend time in jail, which interrupts work and daily routines.
The 3-day work week leaves plenty of free time for other activities or a second career once the Multi-Job System arrives.
Criminal careers lower Karma. Zois who die with Terrible Karma become ghosts.
