Beach Volleyball is a social sport activity in inZOI available on the beaches of Bliss Bay. It is one of several outdoor recreational activities that Zois can participate in to fulfill their needs and build skills. Beach volleyball stands out as both a physical activity that contributes to Fitness skill development and a social event that allows multiple Zois to interact in a fun, casual setting. The activity captures the relaxed, coastal lifestyle that Bliss Bay is designed around.
Beach volleyball courts are found on the sandy beaches of Bliss Bay, the coastal city in inZOI. The courts are public facilities that any Zoi can use at any time during daylight hours. They are located near other beach amenities like lounging areas and water access, making them part of a larger beach recreation zone.
To play, travel to Bliss Bay's beach area and interact with a volleyball court. If your Zoi is alone, they may practice solo drills such as bumping and setting the ball. If other Zois are present at the court (either friends you brought along or NPCs already there), a proper group game can start.
Beach volleyball in inZOI is an automated social activity rather than a skill-based minigame. When your Zoi joins a game, they participate in rallies, serves, and spikes alongside the other players. The game handles the actual volleyball mechanics; players watch their Zois play, enjoy the animations, and reap the gameplay benefits.
Games can include anywhere from two to six Zois, depending on how many are present at the court. Larger games are more entertaining to watch and provide a stronger Social need boost. The activity continues until a Zoi decides to leave the court, gets called away by another need, or the player ends the interaction.
Playing beach volleyball addresses two of the core needs that every Zoi has:
Need | Effect |
|---|---|
Fun | Moderate increase. The primary recreational benefit of playing. |
Social | Moderate to high increase when playing with other Zois. Minimal effect during solo practice. |
Because beach volleyball fulfills both Fun and Social simultaneously, it is an efficient activity for Zois who are low on both needs. Compared to solitary fun activities like watching TV or playing video games, volleyball's social component gives it an edge for Zois who need interaction.
Beach volleyball contributes to the Fitness skill. Each session of play generates a small amount of Fitness experience. The gain rate is moderate compared to dedicated exercise activities like working out at the gym or jogging, but the added benefits of Fun and Social fulfillment make volleyball a well-rounded choice for Zois who want to develop Fitness without purely grinding exercise.
Over time, regular volleyball play contributes meaningfully to Fitness progression, especially for Zois who play frequently as part of their social routine. It is not the fastest way to level Fitness, but it is one of the most enjoyable.
Beyond the Social need meter, beach volleyball provides opportunities to build relationships with other Zois. Playing together generates positive social interactions that increase relationship scores between participants. This makes volleyball a useful activity for:
Making new friends: Join a game with NPCs at the beach to build new friendships naturally.
Strengthening existing friendships: Bring friends along for a group activity that boosts your relationship levels.
Group outings: Volleyball is a great choice for parties or social gatherings at the beach.
Romantic dates: Bring a romantic interest to the beach for a fun, active date activity.
Bring friends to the volleyball court for the best Social need boost. Solo practice is less rewarding.
Combine volleyball with other Bliss Bay activities (swimming, sunbathing, beach walking) for a full day of recreation.
If your Zoi needs Fitness experience but also has low Fun and Social, volleyball is a more efficient use of time than the gym.
Beach volleyball is a daytime activity. Visit during morning or afternoon hours for the best experience.
NPCs at the beach are generally willing to join a game, so you do not need a large friend group to get a full match going.
