Orchel
September 23, 2026 at 07:22 AM
Added her Part III join point, the Strahl Blaze Art, her Wolf route guest appearance and her paralogue; dated open questions
Orchel is a playable character in Fortune's Weave and the figure the Linaria Morning Dew clan forms around. She serves as a priest, she wears a cat mask made of deiform gold, and she will not take it off in front of anyone. As of September 2026, this wiki has not documented the reason, only that she insists there is one.
Her profile places her at Credna's Temple, in the upper levels of Dagsion, where she serves as a priestess.

The mask is shaped like a cat and made of deiform gold, and she is fond of it. Asked about it, she answers without answering: "This has a long story behind it! And I absolutely can't take it off in front of others!" As of September 2026, that is as far as this wiki's material goes; what is under it and why it matters are not yet documented here.
Her published profile describes a pure and kind nature and someone who cannot ignore a person in need of help. It also describes her as out of step with the world around her. When Theodora introduces herself with her full name and title at their first proper meeting, Orchel is irritated by the formality, and Theodora hits back by asking about the mask. The two do not start well.
Her profile also notes a restriction: she is described as very strong but barred from some soldier classes. Class restrictions only matter for a unit the player controls, so the line implies she can be recruited and reclassed rather than only fought. See Recruitment for how rival competitors are won over.
The retail game settles the recruitment question. Orchel cannot be recruited in Part I, and she joins automatically at the start of Part III, arriving on the seventh turn of its opening battle. Before that she fights beside Theodora as a guest, with Diego, Seteth and Loretta, in the bandit battle of the third chapter of the Wolf route.
Orchel serves at Credna's Temple, in the upper levels of Dagsion. Credna is a god of the Dagdan Pantheon, depicted wearing glasses, and preview footage attributes a piece of technology to him. When Theodora accuses her of trespassing, Orchel's answer is that she is affiliated with the temple and has a priestess mark to prove it.
That mark is where the Crest reading comes from. Preview coverage identifies the sign on her chest as the Crest of Noa, which is the crest associated with Credna, so the pairing would explain itself. That is an explanation offered for what is on screen rather than something stated in the scene, and it should be read as such. Dagdans call Crests Bloodmarks, and each individual one a Diadem tied to a member of the pantheon. As of September 2026, no Crest effect has been published for this game.
Her profile is also specific about what she can do. She excels at white magic, and the same profile credits her with strength that surpasses most men, which is an unusual pairing for a temple servant and is the reason her class options are worth watching.
The clan is named for her. Its published membership is Orchel, Diego, Seteth and Loretta, and it belongs to the group of clans that turn up on both sides of the board: members fight as guests alongside your party in some chapters and as bosses against it in others. Factions covers the full set of teams competing in the tournament.
Diego travels with her as her bodyguard, and grumbles about the job: "I just wish you weren't so keen to do that. That'll make it much harder for me to guard you."
Orchel appeared in the September 2025 reveal trailer before she had a name, and she was identified during the promotional showcase built around Creek. That showcase also mentions a chancellor who has become fixated on her and has asked Creek for help over it. Separately, footage shows her fighting alongside Dietrich and Talimun against soldiers of Arago.
Footage shows her twice on what looks like the same map at different points of the game. At Level 2 she is a Diviner carrying Seraphim, fighting as a guest unit alongside Diego, Loretta and Seteth, on a map read as belonging to Theodora's path. At Level 10 she is on the same ground in the battle against the Palma Fighters, where Leda teams up with her and Anatolia; there she uses the Spike combat art and takes a buff from Diego when she stands next to him. Preview coverage also notes that she counts as armoured whatever class she is in.
Her Blaze gauge is its own type, called Automata. The standard gauge fills from Blaze Arts and from cursed weapons and items alike; hers fills only from Blaze Arts, so cursed gear does nothing for it, and her meter is drawn with a gear icon rather than the usual one. Her Blaze Art Strahl is named in the retail game, and walkthroughs use it with Cai's Blackfire to strip most of the shield from the boss of the opening battle of Part III; as of September 2026 this wiki has not documented its effect text.
Orchel's paralogue, Orchel's Regret, is the only one of the nine that can be played on all four Part I routes. She gives it in Lower Temple Row from 10/18 on the in-game calendar, with the window closing by 10/21 on Cai's route, 10/24 on Theodora's and 10/27 on Dietrich's and Leda's. It is the largest paralogue map: the party splits to reach two switches, and hitting them together fires an onager at the boss and the units around him. It pays 20,000 gold, 150 Renown and a Healing Staff, and clearing it is a requirement for recruiting Diego on every route.
Preview accounts described statues in Dagsion marking the competitors who reached the top eight of the Heroic Games, with Orchel among the figures depicted. In the retail prologue, the statues on the Alcineus Span name eight Flame Lords, and Orchel is one of them.
Her necklace is also described as carrying a Diadem, the Dagdan term for an individual Crest. As of September 2026, no Diadem effect has been published for this game, so nothing is written here about hers.
Her listed likes are animals, listening to music, cleaning, doing laundry and cooking. Her listed interests are caring for plants and reading.
Orchel is voiced by Erin Yvette in English and Kaede Hondo in Japanese. The full cast list is on Voice Cast.
For the bodyguard who follows her around Dagsion and grumbles about the job, see Diego. Seteth is listed in Linaria Morning Dew alongside them, and Factions covers the clans that field guests on one route and bosses on another.
