Nydine is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, a mercenary working out of Dagsion who was once an exemplary warrior of Saramis. She fights mounted on an ornius, and her personal skill turns that mount into a way through enemy lines rather than around them.

Nydine served Saramis as a model warrior, good enough that Bonaventure, the queen's right hand, recognised her ability. The Gráinne War, a civil war fought in the kingdom, ended that chapter. She left and wandered Dagda, and the wandering is what brought her to her present life as a hired sword in the capital.
Her listed likes are honouring her duties and caring for orniuses; her interests are improving her combat abilities and reading. For a mercenary, duty rates unusually high on that list, which reads as the part of her Saraminian service she kept.

Every unit riding an ornius can already vault obstacles while moving. Forcing Through removes the other thing that normally stops a mounted unit, the enemy body in the way, which makes her the roster's clearest answer to a blocked corridor.
Her profile describes her fighting as one with her mount and manoeuvring nimbly enough to frighten opponents. Pre-launch footage shows her in Leda's party as an Ornius Rider, fighting alongside Buccar, Mu, Sirocco and Olympia.

The name may relate to the Arabic Nādīn, meaning showerer of blessings.
Her starting class has not been announced, and no stats or growths exist for her. What she did during the Gráinne War, which side she was on, and why she left rather than stayed have not been published, and her recruitment conditions and support partners are unstated.
The mount she fights on has its own class page at Ornius Rider, the kingdom she came from is covered on Saramis, and the commander who recognised her is Bonaventure.
