The Witch of Strength is one of five witches in Crimson Desert. She is located in the far northeast of the map and is widely considered the single most important witch for raw power. Her Destruction and Insight blueprints provide massive boosts to attack power and critical rate, making them essential for tackling late-game and hidden bosses. Finding her requires traveling to the distant town of Tomaso and performing a small act of generosity.

The Witch of Strength's hidden form is an impoverished child in the town of Tomaso, located in the far northeast of the map in the Crimson Desert region. Unlike Lyselia and Barry, finding this witch requires only a tiny amount of money rather than a physical action.
Travel to the town of Tomaso in the far northeast corner of the world map.
Find the impoverished child somewhere in the town.
Give the child one copper coin. This is all that is required.
The child disappears and the witch reveals her hidden hut location.
The Witch of Strength's hut is located northwest of the World's Navel, positioned between two fast travel points. Getting there involves some traversal mechanics:
Travel to the area between the two fast travel points near the World's Navel.
Take the left teleporter.
Use the pogo stick and forward thrust to climb up the cliff face.
The hut is at the top of the cliff.
The Witch of Strength provides all standard witch services:
Embed Abyss Gears into equipment sockets
Extract Abyss Gears from equipped items
Create and unlock Abyss Core sockets on equipment
Crafting Abyss Gears using recipes (synthesis)
Buying and selling equipment and items
Selling the game's most powerful offensive blueprints
The Witch of Strength sells the two most important offensive recipes in the game. These blueprints are what make her arguably the most valuable witch to find.
Blueprint | Effect | Equippable On | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|---|
Destruction | Increases raw alpha damage (attack power) | The single highest damage increase available from any blueprint. Level 3 provides a massive power jump for endgame content. | |
Insight | Increases critical rate | Higher crit rate means more frequent critical hits, which multiply your overall damage output substantially. |
Both Destruction and Insight follow the standard synthesis upgrade path. Combine two level 1 Abyss Gears of the same type to create level 2, and two level 2 to create level 3. The level 3 versions represent a huge power spike; players who have been struggling with late-game or hidden bosses will notice an immediate difference after upgrading to level 3 Destruction.
The Witch of Strength's blueprints form the core of the strongest offensive setups in the game when combined with blueprints from other witches:
Destruction + Swift: Pair the Witch of Strength's Destruction (raw damage) with Barry's Swift (attack speed) on your weapon. This gives you both higher damage per hit and faster attacks, resulting in dramatically higher DPS.
Destruction + Insight: Stack both of the Witch of Strength's blueprints on the same weapon. Destruction increases base damage, while Insight increases how often that damage crits. The synergy between the two is multiplicative.
Full Offensive: For maximum damage output, put Destruction and Insight on your weapon, then equip Lyselia's defensive blueprints on your armor to stay alive while dealing massive damage.
The Witch of Strength assigns three sanctums in the Demeniss region. She has one fewer sanctum than the other witches.
Sanctum | Location | Notable Feature |
|---|---|---|
Demeniss, north of the Gate of Truth | Breakable floor; vine-blocked passageways | |
Demeniss, west of the Red River | Navigate through holes in iron bars | |
Demeniss, north of the Bamboo Forest | Antumbra's Spear boss fight; collapsible roof |
Completing all three sanctums rewards you with a Witch's Token. This token, combined with the tokens from Elo, Barry, and Lyselia, unlocks the door to the White Crow in the Wayward Woods.
The Witch of Strength is located far from the starting areas, but traveling there early is well worth it for the Destruction blueprint alone.
Keep a few copper coins in your inventory at all times when exploring new towns. The interaction that reveals this witch costs only a single coin.
The pogo stick and forward thrust to reach her hut can be tricky. Make sure you have unlocked the necessary traversal abilities before attempting the climb.
Level 3 Destruction and Insight together make previously impossible bosses manageable. If you are stuck on a late-game boss, upgrade both to level 3 before retrying.
