How to Obtain

The Surreal Necklace can be acquired from two known sources:

Great Main Jeweler: The necklace is available for purchase from the jeweler in Great Main. This is the most straightforward method of obtaining the accessory.
Serpent Marsh Witch: A Witch located on a cave island in the middle of the Serpent Marsh also sells this necklace. Reach the island by boat or swimming, then enter the cave to find the Witch's shop.

Necklace Stat Doubling

Necklaces in Crimson Desert have a unique property: their secondary stats are doubled compared to the displayed value. The Surreal Necklace shows Critical Rate Lv.4 at max refinement, which translates to +4 Critical Rate on the tooltip. In practice, this value is doubled to +8 Critical Rate when the necklace is equipped. This makes the Surreal Necklace the single most impactful accessory for reaching the Critical Rate cap of 15.

Role in Stat Optimization

The Surreal Necklace is widely considered the most important accessory for players pursuing the 15/15/15 stat benchmark (Critical Rate, Attack Speed, Movement Speed). Thanks to the necklace stat doubling mechanic, a fully refined Surreal Necklace contributes +8 Critical Rate on its own. Combined with a weapon's native +1 Critical Rate, the player reaches +9 from equipment alone. Only two Critical Rate Abyss Cores (+3 each) are then needed to hit the 15 cap, leaving five remaining Abyss gear slots free for Attack Speed, Movement Speed, or other effects.

Without the Surreal Necklace, reaching 15 Critical Rate would require dedicating far more Abyss Core slots to Critical Rate, severely limiting the player's ability to cap the other two stats. For this reason, obtaining and fully refining this necklace is the top priority in any optimized build.

Usage and Tips

Necklaces offer a mix of offensive and utility stats. The Surreal Necklace contributes to your overall combat effectiveness through its unique combination of bonuses.

The Spirit regeneration effect replenishes your Spirit resource, which is used for special abilities. Consistent Spirit recovery allows more frequent use of powerful skills during extended fights.

Refinement is available up to +10, which improves both the base stats and any bonus effects. Consider investing refinement materials if you plan to keep this accessory equipped for an extended period.
