Overview
The Kiln Repair at the Kilnden Workshop main quest in Chapter 4 of Crimson Desert has three kiln objectives that become available after you activate the ancient generator. Each kiln requires a different approach: one needs physical reassembly, one needs fuel, and one has a disconnected power cable. You can complete them in any order.
Fix the Dismantled Kiln (Middle Objective)
This kiln has been broken into pieces that need to be reassembled using Axiom Force and Force Palm.
Pick up the first piece. Hold L3 / Left Stick to activate Axiom Force. Grab the broken piece to the right of the kiln. It has rough, destroyed edges.
Stack it on the kiln. Lift the piece and place it on top of the kiln base. It should rotate into the correct alignment automatically.
Pick up the second piece (the chimney). The chimney piece is behind the kiln. It also has rough, damaged edges. Stack it on top of the first piece.
Connect the pieces. Climb onto the stacked parts. Jump (Square / X) and while in the air, use Force Palm (R3 / Right Stick) to connect both pieces together.
Activate the kiln. Push the wooden lever on the kiln's side to power it on.
Put Fuel in the Kiln (Northernmost Objective)
This kiln needs five blue glowing energy balls inserted into round openings around the structure.
Blue Ball Locations
Balls 1 and 2: Sitting on the ground directly next to the kiln. Hard to miss.
Ball 3: Inside a cave entrance through the flooded area, toward the hill where the ancient generator is located. Note: this ball occasionally fails to spawn. If it is missing, reload an older autosave or restart the game.
Ball 4: In the flooded area to the left of the kiln. This one is the eye of a bird-shaped statue with a glowing blue head. Position yourself to the side of the statue, hold L3 to aim with Axiom Force, then hold L2 / LT to extract the ball from the statue's eye socket.
Ball 5: In the flooded water near the bird statue.
Insert all five balls into the round openings around the kiln, then push the wooden lever to activate it.
Fix the Disconnected Kiln (Southeastern Objective)
This is the simplest of the three objectives.
Find the loose cable. Walk behind the kiln near the wooden lever. A disconnected power cable is lying on the ground.
Reconnect it. Interact with the cable where it meets the kiln. Kliff pushes it back into place automatically.
Activate the kiln. Push the wooden lever to power the kiln on.
Completing the Quest
After all three kilns are repaired and powered on, a cutscene plays. Speak with the NPC afterward to complete the Kiln Repair at the Kilnden Workshop quest.
Tips
The dismantled kiln is the trickiest objective. If Axiom Force drops the pieces, get closer to them before grabbing.
Ball 3 (the one in the cave) has a known spawn bug. If it does not appear, try fast-traveling away and coming back, or reload a save.
The bird statue for Ball 4 requires you to stand at the side, not directly in front. Aim at the glowing eye from an angle.
